With an all-British cast of fresh comedians, here's what to expect from the UK's first ever british series of Saturday Night Live.

On Wednesday 4th February, Sky annouced there will be a new show on the horizon as Saturday Night Live UK makes its debut. Starting on Saturday, 21st March, a six-episode Sky Original series will be broadcast live each week, aiming to capture the true essence of upbeat comedy.
Along with the announcement was who would be in the cast, providing some quick comedy on our TV screens. With 11 comedians, including two London comedians, Hammed Animashaun and Ayoade Bamgboye.

Plus, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi, and Paddy Young. Writers are yet to be announced, but in SNL tradition, there will be a range of (UK) hosts that'll be gearing us up for a show of madness from Taskmaster, Steve, This Country, Big Boys and Everyone Else Burns.
So what's to expect from the UK version of SNL? With the hopes to bring high-wire, anything-can-happen energy that makes SNL a cultural force, now reimagined through a distinctly British lens. UK SNL will be filled with a new guest host who will take the helm each week, putting their distinctive stamp on the SNL formula alongside a chart-topping musical guest.
Lead producer James Longman spoke about SNL UK, saying, "The UK is absolutely packed with incredible comedy talent right now, and this cast represents the freshest voices we have; they’re bold, exciting and of course, incredibly funny. The chemistry between them is something special, and we can’t wait to share this funny group of people with the world."
