If you've been wandering the culture speckled streets of Liverpool of late, you'll have noticed a wealth of cutting edge events being plastered onto posters around the city. Bringing an ensemble of acts to a number of city hotspots, Harvest Sun Promotions are responsible for a hefty wedge of those. 

Just about everyone's talking about them at the moment - Liverpool based Hooton Tennis club are an exciting, up and coming indie four piece destined for greatness. They launch their breezy lo-fi number 'Jasper' (below) at The Shipping Forecast on Friday 20th February

Venturing into more established territories on Friday 6th March, the experimental indie pop project of Merrill Garbus, tUnE-yArDs brings it's convivial snapshots of the world map to Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. Check out 'Water Mountain' below.

American singer/songwriter Brian Christinzio, better known on stage as BC Camplight brings his classic pop musings to Leaf on Bold Street on Wednesday 11th March. Alternative country duo, The Handsome Family arrive at the same venue on Friday 20th as does Matthew E. White on April 18th

Psychedelia is order of the day at The Kazimier for the last two shows of the initial instalments. Revered selector James Holden takes centre stage for a live set on Thursday 30th journeying through the vast sounds of techno. The side project of Wooden Shijps, Moon Duo permeates the live space on Monday 4th May brandishing their impressive back catalogue of kraut rock.
