Following their return with their latest single, 'Be With You', Muse has just announced that they'll be playing an intimate show at the O2 Academy Brixton in London this Easter on Good Friday (3rd April). Taking the stage for the first time this year, the show will mark the trio's return to the city since their concert at The O2 in autumn 2023.
The band's return to Brixton Academy will be the first in over 20 years, since a two-night residency back in May 2001, which took place shortly before the second album 'Origin Of Symmetry'. The appearance will be to launch their 10th album, 'The WOW! Signal', which they announced on Instagram.
The project takes its title from one of the most compelling interstellar mysteries of the last century – "a powerful 72-second radio burst detected in 1977 originating from the constellation Sagittarius with a bandwidth and intensity that suggested a possible extraterrestrial source."
With the album set to include 10 tracks, it's described to explore, "a mix of cosmic mystery, existential hope, and the exhilarating possibility of contact with something far greater than ourselves."
Tickets go on general sale at 10am next Friday (27th March). However, fans can also access a pre-sale at the same time on Wednesday (25th March) by pre-ordering ‘The WOW! Signal’ from Muse’s official store.
