Massive Attack and Carole King announced for British Summer Time festival

Hyde Park announces a bill topped by Massive Attack and Carole King's first UK gig in 27 years.

Legendary trip-hop duo Massive Attack and Carole King have been confirmed as headliners for this year's British Summer Time shows at Hyde Park.

Massive Attack top the bill for the Friday 1st July event, with singer and poet Patti Smith, indie-rock band TV On The Radio, dreamy rock four-some Warpaint and urban vocalist Ghostpoet also set to play.

Carole King plays her first UK gig in 27 years on Sunday 3rd July, performing her classic album Tapestry in its entirety.  

Massive Attack bring a new audio-visual live show to the London park, designed by Robert Del Naja and long-time visual collaborators United Visual Artists. Check out their collaboration for 'Voodoo In My Blood' above.

The event on Saturday 2nd July will feature Florence + The Machine and Kendrick Lamar, whilst Mystery Jets play on Thursday 7th July, Mumford & Sons play on Friday 8th and Take That headline Saturday 9th.
