Tickets for Glastonbury 2009 have sold out within the hour this morning, with thousands of people rising early for their last chance to get a ticket.

The phone line and website for ticket sales is still jammed with people trying to purchase a ticket, however after an hour of trying we can confirm the event has sold out.

Rather annoyingly, we suffered the same error as last time, which after submitting our card details and registration numbers, we were taken to an error page on the seetickets website which stated that the page could not be found - again causing confusion as to whether the order has actually gone through or not. We await in anticipation a response from the ticket outlet.

Although this year's full Glastonbury line-up won't be announced until a month before the Festival, a smattering of names have already been confirmed. We thought you might like to see a full list of the ones we're officially allowed to tell you:

Lily Allen, Fleet Foxes, Neil Young, Blur, Bruce Springsteen, Emiliana Torrini, Doves, Franz Ferdinand, The Ting Tings, Echo And The Bunnymen, White Lies and Florence And The Machine
