Explosions In The Sky announce April UK tour dates

Post-rock legends Explosions In The Sky have announced a run of UK tour dates for April. 

Emerging for the first time since their 2011 album Take Care Take Care, they are expected to push a new album in the new year as part of the announcement.

They posted on their facebook page that they were "coming out of hibernation" with an official trailer arriving via Youtube (watch that below). 

Famed for what they call mini-symphonies, the band are able to achieve infinite escapism and hedonism with the meticulous and densely layered guitar work that goes into each of their awe-inspiring tracks.

Glasgow - Barrowland, Tuesday 19th April 

Manchester - Albert Hall, Friday 22nd April 

Bristol - Colston Hall, Saturday 23rd April 

Brighton - Brighton Dome, Saturday 23rd April

London - Royal Albert Hall, Monday 25th April
