Belgian techno DJ and producer Charlotte de Witte has released her debut album via her own label, KNTXT, titled Charlotte de Witte.

The eleven-track album features singles ‘The Realm’, ‘No Division’ featuring XSALT, and ‘The Heads That Know’ featuring Comma Dee. Lisa Gerrard and Alice Evermore feature elsewhere on the album.

After years of DJing and making music, releasing 25 EPs in the process, de Witte said she “started to feel the urge to embrace a format that allowed me to showcase my sonic identity in its entirety.”

In an Instagram post, de Witte said: “It’s been a long time coming, and I put my heart and soul into this. A piece of me, expressed through sound. A sonic journey through my life as a clubber and a DJ, and an invitation into my world. A world built on countless nights, countless beats, and the unwavering belief that club music still has the power to move us, transform us, and connect us.

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your unwavering love and support. This is a big moment.”

An image in the post reads: "My biggest drive has been club music and my love for clubbing. Growing up in and around Ghent allowed me to explore nightlife from an early age. It has grabbed me and held me tight for almost two decades now.

“I wouldn't be who I am today without the existence of nightlife and club culture. Belgium's rich club and festival environment have been a true blessing to me."
