Swiss-born, Barcelona-based DJ and producer Thelma has dropped her latest release, Delusions of Grandeur, on London’s forward-thinking label EC2A. Out now on Bandcamp, the two-track EP sees the rising artist continue her journey through the darker, more experimental corners of techno and bass-driven club music.
Following previous releases like The Higher Land EP, which hinted at a shift toward more groove-led and melodic territory, Delusions of Grandeur expands Thelma’s sonic range even further. The record features the pulsating title track alongside the atmospheric “Subtle,” both exploring tension and release through intricate percussion, layered synths, and hypnotic low-end.
Known for her bold sets across Europe and her growing reputation as one of the scene’s most exciting underground names, Thelma’s latest offering captures both her precision as a producer and her instinct for emotional resonance. The release finds a natural home on EC2A, a label celebrated for spotlighting cutting-edge electronic sounds that blur genre boundaries.
Delusions of Grandeur is available now via EC2A’s Bandcamp page and can be listened to on Soundcloud.
