One of the most prominent eras in the history of Manchester's rich music scene comes back to life this Friday, and there's no better figurehead to spearhead it than Bez himself at Manchester's Deaf Institute.
Famed for his role fronting Happy Mondays, the Madchester legend also played a pivotal role in the city's burgeoning acid house scene during the late eighties and early nineties, becoming a familiar face at the hallowed Hacienda.
The crowd favourite has sold over 350,000 album copies with Happy Mondays, leading many fond memories shaking his maracas to their most memorable hit 'Step On'.
Since the bands termination, one of Bez's most notable ventures is his acclaimed Acid House at Glastonbury (get a flavour for that above), lacing festival punters with a fine selection of house classics from the glory days that'll also appear on the night. Grab your tickets here.
