A new Late Night Tales compilation is on the way, curated by acclaimed Scottish DJ and producer Barry Can’t Swim. The 20-track mix will drop on Friday 6th March, and you can listen to his new single ‘Chala (My Soul Is On A Loop)’, out now on Ninja Tune / Late Night Tales.

The first mix from Late Night Tales in over five years, Barry Can’t Swim’s compilation arrives on the series’ 25th anniversary year, which began with Fila Brazillia’s mix in February 2001. The new mix showcases the artist’s wider musical tastes and influences, and features house classics, abstract grooves, and various leftfield deep cuts. Unreleased material from the Edinburgh producer will appear on the collection, including ‘Sometimes I Feel So Alone’ - originally penned for his debut album - and reworks of Felt’s 1986 track ‘Ferdinand Magellan’ and Superpitcher's ‘Yves’. Regular collaborators O’Flynn and Seamus are also set to feature, with the latter delivering a spoken word piece to close out the compilation.

Barry Can’t Swim said of the announcement, “I was absolutely buzzing when I got asked to do Late Night Tales. Over the moon. It was such a significant thing for me. It’s a series that works consistently with really great artists, so it felt like a massive privilege to even be considered to be among the kind of people that Late Night Tales typically works with.”
