Colour TV began in Cornwall, by accident. Jack Yeo’s melodic guitar work and Sam Durneen’s wistful storytelling present a rare and unmistakable marriage; James Elliott and Sean Goldsmith propel a vivid rhythm. Underpinning all of Colour TV’s music is a note of grief. But that’s life.
Singles including “Billy Pilgrim”, “Pavlova” and “You Treat This Place Like A Hotel” were championed by DJ heroes Steve Lamacq, Gary Crowley and John Kennedy. Colour TV are proud to have opened for , and Mike Joyce of , and in 2023 performed at the Isle of Wight Festival in the wake of their first national tour.
