Skiddle: The UK's biggest guide to festivals

There's so many amazing festivals out there but it can be difficult to work out which festivals you're going to attend. There's so many things to take into consideration - the location of the festival, the size of the festival, the genre of music, whether it's family friendly and the type of facilities onsite.

Skiddle's new Festivals Finder is here to make the process that bit easier. Simply use the Festivals Finder's unique festival search, which include options allowing you to search for festivals based on filters such as location; month; genres; type; size; accommodation; amenities and even the artists you've liked on Facebook!

Yann aka Pastel is a young Musician/Producer/DJ born in south of France from a French Polynesian mother and now based in London (United Kingdom).

This 23 year old man started music at his young age when he discovered rock at Secondary School.

He will definite his style has a mix of Hip-Hop, Soul, House and Groove but was influenced by a lot of different styles.

He first became a drummer in the Rock Band of his school and slowly started learning more instruments by watching his friends playing.

Before becoming Pastel, Yann played in a few band as Bassist, Guitarist or Drummer.

"I couldn't find the exact sound that I wanted with the band so I decided to make a few demos to find musicians, but I actually kept things like this and started my own project.
It has been 3 years that I am now working on this project."

Choosing London as a city to reside was part of his choices to grow his project for something more international.

"I have always been influenced by the English Music Culture and thought that would be a good thing for me to learn the language and find more opportunities."

Headroom debut EP has been released in 2016 and almost reached 100,000 views in less than one year on Soundcloud.

Pastel is now working on some collaborations, singles and also a second EP.

"I think my style has changed since I started Pastel, it's less uptempo than before and want to add more instruments in my music to be able to play them live. I have been listening to Soul, Hip Hop or R&B music and it will defenetely influence me for the second EP".
