There's so many amazing festivals out there but it can be difficult to work out which festivals you're going to attend. There's so many things to take into consideration - the location of the festival, the size of the festival, the genre of music, whether it's family friendly and the type of facilities onsite.
Skiddle's new Festivals Finder is here to make the process that bit easier. Simply use the Festivals Finder's unique festival search, which include options allowing you to search for festivals based on filters such as location; month; genres; type; size; accommodation; amenities and even the artists you've liked on Facebook!
Mixtress features as DJ Mag’s Ones to Watch for 2022, and rightly so. She’s been
pushing the hardcore and jungle agenda for years, hosting high octane sets across the
country, weaving nostalgic tracks with a contemporary breakbeat sound. Her every-
genre-under-the-sun selections haven’t gone unnoticed, with a previous residency at
Balamii, a recent one with Rinse FM and an upcoming one on FM radio.
During lockdown, latenightshopper and Fold streams led to a long list of bookings last
and this year, hosting Keep Hush – a sold-out event, headlining Lobsterfest, and a
series of international appearances this summer. As an advocate for fighting the
imbalance of gender inequality within music, her work at Sisu and prior to that running
women-only DJ workshops have formed her passion for moral and equitable change in
music. She’s also part of a collective Team Woibey, also including fellow DJs Ell Murphy,
Ohmydais and Fae. She’s an avid whosampled contributor, jazz record collector and all
around amen enthusiast.
