A new grassroots day festival is coming to Sheffield.
Coming to an outdoor location in Sheffield’s S2 postcode on Saturday 27th June, Higher Fields Festival will “celebrate the people who make music and art happen outside of the mainstream”, said organisers to RA.
Brought to us by local DIY collectives including Gut Level, Groundwork, Hatch, and Grub Records, Higher Fields will be a not-for-profit, multi-stage event, with a lineup of musicians, DJs, crews, and communities from South Yorkshire. The lineup is still to be announced.
The festival will run from midday to 9pm, followed by an afterparty at Steamworks.
Tickets are on a “pay what you feel” basis, starting at £4.
