Immersive multi-room bubble experience lands in Manchester

A new immersive bubble experience has landed in Manchester for the first time. 

Bubble Planet has opened at Depot Mayfield in the city centre, where it’ll welcome visitors into a “joyful, dreamlike world where bubbles take centre stage” from now until 27th August 2026. 

After running in cities including New York, Los Angeles, Milan, and London, the experience touches down in Manchester for the first time.

​The experience features 10 different themed rooms, VR, simulators, illusions, and more, allowing you to discover and interact with bubbles, immersing yourself in a dreamy environment, “encouraging exploration and playful discovery”. 

Among the highlights of the experience are The Bubble Ocean, designed to evoke calm, Underwater Bubbles, which recreates the feel of deep-sea exploration, and The Infinity Room, where mirrors and lights create an illusion of endless space.

Landing in time for the half term and suitable for all ages, there are multiple slots available to book each day, covering almost every day of the week from now until August, except Tuesdays. 

Younger bubble enthusiasts can also visit the Bubble Dome, a hands-on play area. Children under two can visit for free.
