Yes! I Think I've Figured It Out.

Challenges the ideas which we have been taught for years about work, life and money from our parents and society.

Ever wondered why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer? Ever wondered why you've been working all your life for money and you still don't have any? How comes some have both time and money and others, who make more money, become more broke? Ever stopped to think why some of the wealthiest billionaires in the world didn't even finish a formal college or university education? Could it mean that it's not always about how much you know but how much you do and the way in which you do it? It could be that we focus too much on what we take in but not on what we put out? OK... but maybe they were just lucky. I've actually heard luck defined as persistence meeting opportunity. Go figure. So where does that leave many of us without a college or university degree? Does that mean we are obsolete to society or could we really be wealthy like them? But wait, maybe you did go. Does that mean, logically speaking, you then should be wealthier than those who didn't, because aren't we taught, the higher the education, the higher the income? And while we're on the subject of wealth, what does it mean to be wealthy and how does one acquire wealth or even measure it? What's the difference between being wealthy and being rich? Is there even a difference? But wait. Why do we even need to be wealthy? What happened to the good old days when all you needed was a good education, a good middle class paying job with benefits and a pension and everything would be fine?

Reflect back to when you were a child and people would often ask "what do you want to be when you grow up?" Way back when you had no cares or worries. No bills, no mortgage... no debt collector banging on your door. Back when adults would either laugh at you or encourage you, with a sly grind on their face, when you told them what you wanted to be when you grew up. Probably because they knew you would never make it. Ask yourself, are you doing it now? If yes, good for you! If no, why not? What changed? Did you go out there and change the world to make it happen or did you allow the world to change you. Maybe you lost interest or maybe you couldn't afford it, obstacles got in the way, children, family. Maybe your own health took a toll for the worse. But hold up, how did those adults know you would never make it?

Marianne Williamson puts it best when she said, "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure". Too many of us have been living a life of mediocrity for far too long. Just going through the motions, separating ourselves completely from what truly inspires us and settling for what society has told us is the norm. Too scared to jump into the deep end to find what truly makes us happy and to explore what we were really put on this earth to do. Ask yourself this. 1) What can I do that comes easy to me but harder for other people? 2) Could I do that for years and years to come and want no money for doing it? Finally 3) Can it be used as a service to give back. This is what every individual should be aspiring to in their lives. To find what they are best at and be doing that daily. You see if you find something you love doing, you'll never work a day in your life. This is some of the reason why the rich are getting richer. They enjoy what they do and the method in which they do things and their mind set in which they perceive things just attracts more wealth. I guess they don't teach that in school. Did you know that the rich don't work for money? That's why they make so much of it! while the rest of us, who are pushing overtime trying to make more money, are still left broke at the end of the month and before you jump to disagree with me, ask yourself what then do they work for?

I want to encourage you to find the time to stop and think about what you're doing and where you're going in life. Are you living to your fullest potential using your God given talents and abilities and What legacy will you leave behind for others to follow. Horace Mann said "Be ashamed to die until you have won some victory for humanity". It's time that we step into our greatest and shine and truly find our intended purpose on earth.
