For our second party we are delighted to welcome Glasgow resident Daniel Magee aka Lo Kindre, whose debut EP was released by Optimo in 2017. Daniel will play a live set, which we're really looking forward to. We are also very excited to be hosting this, and all future WV parties at Wharf Chambers.

Joining Lo Kindre will be guest DJ Zoya (Bathtime Sessions / Equaliser) and resident deejays The Boogie Monster (Downtown Science) and Matt Woodward (Release Yourself / Galaxians).

Lo Kindre is Luxembourg-born and raised Irishman Daniel Magee's personal dub interpretation, the result of a year of On U indulgence and Tuff Dub encounters, and time spent honing a live show across venues in Glasgow. Debut EP 'Plant Up...' presents a cosmic blend of swirling synth and low-slung bass offering Magee's own version of dub to the public for the very first time.

"Optimo boss JD Twitch has always been partial to a bit of dub so you imagine he needed little persuasion when this low slung batch from Lo Kindre was wafted in front of him. Once again plucked from the perma-fertile local Glasgow scene, Lo Kindre may be a familiar name to those that copped Huntley + Palmer?s free ?Clyde Built? compilation last year.

The promise of his cosmic digi steppah contribution to that release has been cracked open, channelling new levels of dub mastery throughout ?Plant Up.? We?re not sure what sort of gear Lo Kindre was manipulating in the production of these four tracks, but he?s mastered a true and quite individual take on the classic dub sound ? blessing the iconic styles of Sherwood and Bovell with his own cosmic touch.

Tuff enuff!"
