V Festival Tickets on Sale 3RD March

V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Mobile, returns for its 11th annual outing in its regular Chelmsford and Staffordshire homes on 19th and 20th August 2006.

If the sound of 65,000 fans singing along with Oasis to Wonderwall at 2005’s V Festival is now just a distant memory, then don’t worry, we will be announcing the line-up for 2006 soon. Expect the usual V mix of major headline acts, next big things and current chart-toppers to grace the picturesque hills of Hylands Park, Chelmsford and the beautiful Weston Park, Staffordshire, on the weekend of 19th & 20th August 2006.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on 3rd March, and festival fans are advised to get their tickets early to avoid disappointment. Last year’s 10th Anniversary event sold out in record time and organisers are confident that tickets will sell out even faster this year.

V Festival director, Bob Angus comments:
“We’ve been working hard since last year’s festival to ensure 2006 will be the best V yet. We already have some outstanding acts signed up and we’re continuing to search for the finest artists around to give music fans yet another great V weekend.”

V Festival organisers encourage music fans to purchase their tickets from recommended retailers only and not to buy tickets from secondary outlets or auction sites as it may lead to disappointment.
