On Friday May 26th, the UK's #1 Muse tribute band will be coming to Morecambe to play at The Carleton venue. Mused will headline the launch night of the restored front bar and be supported by other local bands.

Having recently hosted a Ska night as well as numerous Wrestling events, The Carleton aims to be the number one choice for gigs and other events in 2017 and beyond.

50% of the profit from ticket sales will go to West End Impact, a charity situated next to The Battery which helps those our community which are finding it particularly tough. The basis of the work there is to react to crisis and rebuild lives. This is done through providing advice and guidance via drop in sessions where practical advice can be received regarding housing, benefits and referrals to specialist organisations. Laptops are also available for those wanting to access information themselves or to job search. A CBT based course, Living Life to the full is run for those with low mood and anxiety as well 'Restore' which is an art group which aims to restore lives through creativity. West End Impact also runs a toddler group, food bank, Community café & youth group as well as offering two hot meals a week to those who are homeless, low income or in need of a hot meal. As the services offered are so extensive the outgoings are large and fundraising events such as these are much needed.

The event will be a 14+ gig. We hope that families can come together and have a great night and we know that a lot of the youth in Morecambe are very talented musicians and vocalists. We want to embrace this and encourage their enthusiasm for music.

We are excited to welcome Mused to Morecambe. Mused playing all around the country and receive fantastic reviews including this one;

"Not only do these guys look like Muse, they sound just like them, totally amazing!!" Johnny Doom, Kerrang Radio

We hope it to be a bank holiday weekend of TT bikers passing through, Punks down the road at Nice n' Sleazy, but kicking it off on the Friday with some full on Rock! for a very worthy cause.
