London’s Tate Modern will showcase the survey exhibition ‘A Second Life’ by world-renowned artist Dame Tracey Emin from February to August 2026.

Emin is one of Britain's most recognisable contemporary names in art, with a career spanning over 40 years.

Her largest-ever exhibition lands in the Tate Modern from 27th February to 31st August 2026, featuring a mix of her most famous pieces from her “first life” - including the Turner prize-nominated My Bed (1998), Why I Never Became a Dancer (1995), and Everyone I Have Ever Slept With/The Tent (1963–1995) - as well as work that has never been shown to the public before.

Over 90 works will be displayed, spanning painting, video, textile, neon, sculpture, and installation.

The name of the exhibition, A Second Life, references Emin's life after aggressive bladder cancer, surgery, and disability, with works addressing the experience featured.

About the exhibition, Emin said, "I’m very excited about having a show at Tate Modern. For me, it’s one of the greatest international contemporary art museums in the world and it’s here in London. I feel this show, titled ‘A Second Life’, will be a benchmark for me. A moment in my life when I look back and go forward. A true celebration of living.”
