Sony buys back share of Michael Jackson venture for £526m

Sony has bought back Michael Jackson's 50 percent share of Sony ATV Music Publishing for £526m. It was initially brokered in 1995, and the new deal now gives Sony rights to over three million songs, including songs by The Beatles and Bob Dylan

Jacko's master recordings remain his own property (brighten up your day with the still Jacko owned 'The Way You Make Me Feel' above), and the money received by from the deal will help reduce estate debt and benefit his three children.
