20/20 Vision founder, DJ Ralph Lawson, is set to take on a marathon 20-hour 20-minute DJ livestream this Friday (20th February) from 2pm, aiming to raise funds for War Child, supporting children caught up in conflicts around the world, including Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, and other war-torn regions.
The unusual length of the mix is an intentional reference to the iconic Leeds-based label of the same name, with the set only featuring music recorded for 20/20 Vision. This comes as both a celebration of the label’s 30-year legacy under the Full Circle banner, whilst also providing a significant time period to maximise donations for War Child.
The DJ set will be streamed live via the 20/20 Vision YouTube and via Ralph Lawson’s Instagram.

On the liverstream, Ralph Lawson said: “Lying awake in bed on bonfire night in the UK, listening to fireworks crack through the night air, I tried to imagine what it must feel like to be a child living through bombardment with real explosions getting closer and closer, and it was impossible to truly comprehend.
"We simply do not know what it feels like to live in constant fear for our lives, uncertain if we will awaken the next morning, or to be displaced from our homes and constantly afraid. I thought of my own children asleep in their warm beds and realised just how fortunate we are living in the safe suburbs of Leeds.
"Alongside the urgent need for the basic necessities of life, water, food, clothing and shelter, children in conflict suffer life-changing trauma with a huge impact on their mental health.
"I’ve wanted to do something to help for a long time, but found it difficult to navigate through the division and polarisation of our current world. I began researching independent charitable organisations focused first and foremost on children caught up in conflict with a combined emergency aid and long-term psychological support approach, and I found War Child.
"War Child is striving for a world in which no child’s life is torn apart by war. They protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children living in war zones.
"Now is the time. Please do get involved and donate.”
