What are the main elements for a good party?

1. Good Music

2. Good Sound-system to hear that music on

3. Good people at the party to enjoy it

4. Not having to get a pay day loan for the privilege of attending

After many nights out in London that dont conform to the majority of these points, the guys at Ohrwurm have set up a new night to do just that. If you are looking for a party full of scenester’s, sunglasses at night, 'the in crowd', beatport top ten's or music that is 'on trend', then this party is NOT for you.

Ohrwurm is here...and welcomes all like minded individuals to enjoy the wierd and wonderful music on offer...without the bullshit.

An earworm is a piece of music that sticks in one's mind so that one seems to hear it, even when it is not being played. Other phrases used to describe this include musical imagery repetition and involuntary musical imagery. The phenomenon is common in normal life and so may be distinguished from brain damage that results in palinacousis. The word earworm is a calque from the German Ohrwurm.

It is the type of tune that is between between catchy and annoying. Earworms are also referred as "stuck song syndrome", "involuntary musical imagery" (INMIs), "brainworms", or "sticky music".

One reason that this occurs is that melodic music tends to have a rhythm that repeats. This cyclical nature may cause endless repetition, unless some way to achieve a climax that breaks the cycle is found.

At Ohrwurm, expect deep underground techno, minimal and tech house that will be twisting its way round your head for days after this party.
