Event Postponed! ? Silence Will Fall, Nov 23rd, Bridgeton
It?s with regret that with only one day to go we are forced to push a button we promised ourselves never to press and postpone tomorrows show ? a decision that we don?t take lightly, and after a lot of work, has completely disheartened us all.
We absolutely hate the idea of postponement, especially as it lets fans down. After taking a step back today after dealing with some major issues that have popped up this week, we had to take a step back and admit defeat this time round.
The past year has been filled with last minute complications and problems that we?ve been able to overcome. There have been times when something went wrong and it was an easy fix, other times we?ve had to beg, plead or raise the show budgets even when it wasn?t sustainable.
This week everything that could go wrong, has gone wrong and we?ve been fighting as hard as we can to counteract each crisis thats popped up. But as much as we?ve put in, there just seemed to be a domino effect; as one piece was put back in it?s place, another five would come crashing down.
I won?t get into the rather dull detail. But this wasn?t a decision that came lightly and to be perfectly honest ? with us taking pride in fighting through all the issues that came to pass over the past year and still fighting on ? this is one one the most devastating and crushing statements we?ve had to make.
As soon as this is posted we?re heading straight to the venue to discuss a new date to be considered for early 2014. Refunds will be issued as soon as we return. If you have any questions or concerns on that front please email store@pridewrestling.co.uk.
We would like to offer our sincerest apologies to everyone who planned to attend and everyone who has helped work towards this. We are truly gutted that we?ve had to pull the plug so late in the day and wish there was another way.
However, unwilling to quit the fight, as soon as this message has been posted we will be heading straight tot he venue to discuss a new date and we will endeavour to ensure the new date will have the same line up ? but with extra bonuses on the card.
We are absolutely crushed at having to push the button here ? but we promise that when this event takes place early next year we?ll come out swinging and give you guys a night to remember!
