Berlin producer Marlon Hoffstadt released an official remix of Robyn’s ‘Dopamine’ today, via Robyn’s own Konichiwa Records.
Hoffstadt, sometimes known as DJ Daddy Trance, has remixed the legendary Swedish pop star's first single in seven years.
Injecting ‘Dopamine’ with euphoric dance sounds, Hoffstadt put a trancey spin on the track, increasing the tempo and making it club-ready and prime for those arms-in-the-air moments in the rave.
Taking to Instagram, Hoffstadt said: “Can’t put into words how honoured I am to have contributed a remix to the new single by @robynkonichiwa. My Daddy version of Dopamine is out now on all platforms. Show some love.”
A free extended version of the track is available to download via the link in Hoffstadt's Instagram bio.
Robyn’s last studio album, Honey, came out in 2018. Since then, she has collaborated on tracks by Jamie xx, SG Lewis, and more, including the remix of Charli xcx's '360' with Yung Lean.
Jamie xx has also remixed ‘Dopamine’.
In October this year, Hoffstadt released an eight-track EP named All Yours, featuring ‘Daddy’s In The Club’ with Coach Harrison.
