MC Cox = Atmosphere original
Mc Cox started his mc career back in 1991 at Atmosphere jumping on the mic at 12 midnight every Friday to rave anthem Rhythm For Reasons ?? The Grand National.
Allan has performed at 100's of parties to all different genres. He is the crowds Mc. With his hosting style loves nothing more to interact with the crowd.
Allan told me and I quote ?I can?t stand Mc's that go on and on. You?re there to hype the crowd not go on about your trainers. Occasionally a great set can be enlivened by the right voice, saying little, having maximum impact?
Mr cox has made a massive name for himself in the Drum and bass Jungle scene in Liverpool and across the north west of England and Wales.
Allan is the resident MC at 100th Monkey were you can see him hosting some of the top names in Drum and Bass but his first love is Oldskool Hardcore especially the more Breakbeat style that eventually morphed into Jungle.
People that inspire Allan are the likes of Mc Flux, Robbie Dee, Joe Peng.
Favourite nights performed at are Atmosphere, 100th Monkey, Retro Trax, Spin city, Bedrock.
Favourite DJ?s Mc'd with Fabio, Doc Scott, Dillinja, Scott brown, Micky Finn, Jumping jack frost, Randall, Vibes.
Hardcore or Jungle? Alan couldn?t pick. You will have to ask him yourself haha.
Favourite tune = M.A.N.I.C. - I'm Coming Hardcore (Original 91 version).
We are over the moon to have MC Cox at our 4th event. He has made a big commitment to us after playing at all 4 of or events. We salute you sir.
