The event marks the first chapter in Lost’s imminent remastered re-release of their Cosmic imprint’s back-catalogue; Cosmic being the label that released seminal recordings by luminaries including Juan Atkins, Robert Hood, Oliver Ho and Karakter.

As anyone with even a passing interest in house and techno will know, Derrick May and Juan Atkins are both hugely influential figures on the scene, with well-earned reputations as purveyors of inspirational high-tech soul.

Joining them is in the Red Room is Lost’s own Steve Bicknell, a DJ who has been at the coal-face of electronic, esoteric music for over two decades and is no slouch in the studio either, as his recent mix of Hauschka's 'Tanzbein' attests.

In the Blue corner will be Detroit’s leader of the new school Kyle Hall, and Chicago rising talent Tevo Howard, joined by Alex Knight (FatCat) and Mario.

If all that wasn’t enough, the Lost partnership of Steve Bicknell and Sheree Rashit bring yet another true master to the (turn)table, in the shape of Mark Ernestus. As one half of revered sonic vanguards Basic Channel, plus Rhythm and Sound, Ernestus’ output, like Phylyps Trak II/II have been a huge influence on many of today’s producers, with his masterful sonic nuances a key shaper of dub-techno, and the deeper end of the bass music spectrum.
