It's 100 days until Skiddle's 25th Birthday!

It’s official: Skiddle turns 25 in just 100 days, and honestly, we're counting down every single one of them. But, with such a milestone until the big event, we couldn't leave you without an announcement.

So with that, we're delighted to announce our special guest host: Sir Lenny Henry!

Whether you know him from co-founding and being the face of Comic Relief, where he's played a central role in raising over £1 billion since 1985, from being a cult star on the telly, from his breakout role in Chef!, his numerous appearances on kids TV, and roles in serious dramas like Broadchurch, nothing will compare to what he's about to do at the Skiddle do... well, atleast not for us anyway. 

The big birthday bash lands on Thursday, 30th April 2026 at Blackpool Tower Ballroom, and tickets are available now.

From a small what’s-on guide built by two mates to a platform that’s helped millions find their nights out, gigs and festivals, Skiddle won't be celebrating quietly, and with our big birthday bash in Blackpool Tower now just in sight, we're ready to ascend up there and mark a quarter-century of chaos, culture and good times.

The night itself will bring together people from across the Skiddle family and live events world for an evening of awards and celebrations in the Tower Ballroom, finishing it all off with an afterparty that wouldn’t feel right ending early.

Alongside the main event, Skiddle will be spending the year throwing it back too - celebrating the music, scenes, people, parties, and moments that shaped our last 25 years, so keep your eyes peeled for that as well. 

With 100 days to go, consider this your official heads-up: the birthday countdown is very much on.
