Hayley Williams launches new band, Power Snatch, with three new songs

Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams is exploring her creative abilities again as she launches a new band, Power Snatch, with long-time collaborator Daniel James. The pair recently teamed up on William's third studio release, 'Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party' (August 2025), which was co-written and produced by James. 

The pair then made an appearance on Apple Music 1, where they the duo officially premiered their track, 'Assignment'. Since then, it has been a hunt to find what else the band has been up to with the discovery that they have an Instagram account, @powersnatched, which already has one post dated back to July 19, 2025.

The pair also has a third track available online via Bandcamp, titled 'DMs'. 

In an interview with Rolling Stone last October, Williams spoke about the project, saying, "It wasn’t time to make another Paramore record, but I had a lot of shit to say, so I’ve done what I’ve done for myself and made this record. I’m finally willing to, like, let that happen. And it’s okay that it’s me by myself and not Paramore right now. Paramore will always have its time because it’s just what we do. We cycle back in and out of it. We resent it one minute. We wanna, like, wear matching clothes in the next minute."
