Revellers rocked to a range of local musical acts as they showed their support for Norden Farm Centre for the Arts last weekend.

Music-lovers descended onto The Hobgoblin pub in the High Street for the three-day Hobfest 2011 from Friday to yesterday (Sunday) in aid of the Altwood Road arts centre.

Festival fever swept through the pub as 30 acts performed including the likes of Tankus the Henge, Tiger Lilly, Hopeless Potential and The Thrones.

The event was inspired by the Advertiser's Dig Deep campaign and raised more than £2,000 for cash-strapped Norden Farm - that has lost all of its Arts Council funding.

Lara Thabsin, 27, from Slough, said: "I came last year and it was really good and have been drinking in here for the last 15 years - it is great."

In true festival style the toilets blocked on Friday (Sept 16) night causing a roof leak, but the music continued, while on Saturday (Sept 17) the speaker system blew.

Sumptuous Thai food was also served throughout, while a marquee in the garden sold cakes, t-shirts and 'green room' was set-up on the pub's rooftop.

Hobfest organiser Matt Delahoussaye, 30, from Bigshow Promotions, said the atmosphere had been 'electric' each night.

He hopes more cash will be raised via a DVD that was filmed of the event to be released over the next few month
