German duo FJAAK bring groove loaded industrial energy on new EP 'FJAAK012'

German techno duo FJAAK have released their brand-new EP, FJAAK012, which landed on their own imprint on Thursday, 24th July and is a release that feels more like a series of live jams than polished studio tracks.

The four-track release finds Felix Wagner and Aaron Röbig firmly in their analogue sweet spot, delivering raw, uncompromising techno built for clubs, warehouses, and dancefloors worldwide.

Opener ‘Inside Out’ is classic FJAAK: stripped-back, industrial-inflected grooves layered with jungle breaks and hardcore edges. From there, ‘Rekorder’ switches up with live-jam spontaneity, swapping rigid sequencing for a looser, grittier percussion-led vibe.

Flip the record and the duo turn up the pressure with ‘Don’t Give A F’, a relentless warehouse heater driven by high-energy beats and piercing synth tones. Rounding things off, ‘Leave A Message’ stands out with its distinctive sound—heavy grooves, textured layers, and sharp shifts keep you locked until the last beat.

The EP marks another high point for the Berlin-based pair, who've consistently challenged club music norms through genre-defying live shows and acclaimed releases. Last year’s full-length, FJAAK THE SYSTEM, saw collaborations with the likes of Modeselektor and Skee Mask, merging breakbeat, jungle, techno and beyond.

Now, FJAAK012 sees them doubling down on their trademark analogue intensity, proving once again why they're among techno's most essential names.
