BOBO BLACKSTAR - From a young age was ordinarily known as Bobo. A versatile, upstanding, roots reggae artist and musician-born on 25th November 1977. Bobo was raised in the urban city, North London. He spent some of his school years in the parishes of St Anns and St Thomas (Bobo Hill's) Jamaica. Also he lived and gained life experience as a young child in Ghana, West Africa.

Through the Rastafari way of life, being of the Boboshanti Order he represented with the wearing of an Ephod (turban) therefore entitling him Bobo Blackstar - Blackstar namely for his pizzazz, charisma and shining character. From the age of five Bobo learnt to play the guitar tutored by Jamaican born London based musician and guitarist Rennie Bailey. Bobo and his brother (King Saint) formulated a young instrumental duo known as Nsu-roma Eyehin (meaning Shining Star).

Both began performing to audiences in and around London and other cities which was the beginning of a musical journey.

Bobo began recording in 1990. By 1996 Bobo Blackstar had established himself as a vocalist and realised his gift through collaboration with Black Mountain sound system (KTR records).

Bobo has shared stage with many artists/vocalists where his performing abilities are well attained - edutaining charismatically.

Bobo has circulated independently, networked and collaborated with various producers, artist and musicians-performing many charitable/non charitable events as well as also European reggae festivals – SummerJam, Reggae Sundance and ReggaeGeel in Belgium.

At present, Bobo is featuring different genres of music across the globe collaborating, and showing his ability to variate within the music industry.
