Skiddle: The UK's biggest guide to festivals

There's so many amazing festivals out there but it can be difficult to work out which festivals you're going to attend. There's so many things to take into consideration - the location of the festival, the size of the festival, the genre of music, whether it's family friendly and the type of facilities onsite.

Skiddle's new Festivals Finder is here to make the process that bit easier. Simply use the Festivals Finder's unique festival search, which include options allowing you to search for festivals based on filters such as location; month; genres; type; size; accommodation; amenities and even the artists you've liked on Facebook!

Dom James is all about Funky Beats and Funky Shirts. Having a large focus of his sets on energy and progression, Dom takes you from A-Z stopping at every niche Sub Genre a long the way. With an obsessive passion for the art of the mix, Dom blends records new and old while maintaining a level of fun to his sets that can often be lost. Specialising in taking a crowd from 130-174bpm through a soundscape developed on a heavy fascination with synthesis and the weird and wonderful noises wavetable synths can create.

Winner of The 2015 American Freshman DJ Competition at Thorpe Park to playing at established Venues like The Volks in Brighton, Camden’s Electric Ballroom to Bowlers Exhibition Centre, Gorilla and Sankeys in Manchester supporting the likes of Jaguar Skills, Krafty Kuts and Delta Heavy along the way, Dom has quickly become a versatile DJ with an eclectic array of funky bass heavy beats. With a range of influences from the likes of Groove Armada, Stanton Warriors and Andy C, Dom can always pitch the right set for the occasion while keeping it fun.

Throughout 2018 Dom has spent a lot of time in the studio and is starting to reap the rewards with the likes of JFB using Dom’s Remix of The Chain in a scratch routine. 2019 brings more studio time for Dom working on more Remixes and creations of his own.
