Skiddle: The UK's biggest guide to festivals

There's so many amazing festivals out there but it can be difficult to work out which festivals you're going to attend. There's so many things to take into consideration - the location of the festival, the size of the festival, the genre of music, whether it's family friendly and the type of facilities onsite.

Skiddle's new Festivals Finder is here to make the process that bit easier. Simply use the Festivals Finder's unique festival search, which include options allowing you to search for festivals based on filters such as location; month; genres; type; size; accommodation; amenities and even the artists you've liked on Facebook!

Formed in 2016, Atomic Brass is a collective of four North West musicians, originally founded by Jamie (Tenor Sax) and Anthony (Tuba), and, after various line up changes, joined by Simon (Alto Sax) and Cameron (Drums) in 2017 to make up the group you see today.

Simon’s arranging expertise gave birth to a whole host of brand new and exciting pieces that breathed new life into the setlist, which has aided the band's increasing popularity, as well as increasing demand across the country for the group's high-octane performances.

Highlights of the bands career so far have included supporting American group Hypnotic Brass at Preston’s LiVe venue, numerous festival appearances and even headlining twice at Liverpool’s famous Jacaranda club. Our performances in the past also merited a mention in the Guardian newspaper, and in 2018, we supported the world famous Too Many Zooz on the North West portion of their tour of the UK on the 14th of May, to massive acclaim.

Atomic Brass creates their unique sound by reimagining popular tunes from different genres and blending them together with Jazz and Funk grooves. The result is a powerful, aggressive concoction of unyielding groove and undeniably catchy dance rhythms. Originally taking direction from the music and styles of American groups Lucky Chops, YoungBlood Brass band and Too Many Zooz, Atomic Brass is now moving on in its own, unique direction.
