There's so many amazing festivals out there but it can be difficult to work out which festivals you're going to attend. There's so many things to take into consideration - the location of the festival, the size of the festival, the genre of music, whether it's family friendly and the type of facilities onsite.
Skiddle's new Festivals Finder is here to make the process that bit easier. Simply use the Festivals Finder's unique festival search, which include options allowing you to search for festivals based on filters such as location; month; genres; type; size; accommodation; amenities and even the artists you've liked on Facebook!
Andy Pendle started DJ'ing in 1990 after falling in love with Hip Hop and then House Music. "I have been doing it ever since, covering all sorts of genres: Chicago, rave, old school, breakeat, UK house, trance, hard house and electro".
"I started collecting house music back in 1986 after hearing some of the early classics from the likes of Raze, Ce Ce Rogers and Marshall Jefferson".
"My first foray in to club DJ’ing (unless you count putting on a night from college in 1991) came after sending a tape (remember those?!?!) to the biggest rave night in Blackpool at The Zone in 1992. After a couple of nights filling in there, I became a resident Zone DJ for most of the next 7 years before starting to play for many more nights around the North West and West Yorkshire".
"I was a regular at Bowlers and Good Times as well as doing lots of guest spots before helping to usher in the bounce / hard house scene when forming the Foreplay nights in Wigan with Steven Jay, Sam White and DJ Rikkee.
"I am still a regular at many old school nights where I am partial to some anthem packed sets, full of arms-in-the-air, pumping and piano-driven classics".
"I have enjoyed all of it and probably enjoyed some of it more than I should have - but I've made some great friends along the way!" :-)
