Ah, we’re back again. And it's May already! We hope your bank holiday shenanigans didn’t leave your head too sore because we’ve got another two bank holidays this month for even more reckless behaviour to fill.

TRICK - Patrick Topping - Edinburgh

Where: Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh

Brought to us by the team behind Terminal V Festival, this is sure to be absolutely mad with some proper serious DJ on the decks from 7 pm all the way to 3 am. Patrick Topping tops the bill of this very special summer show at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre.

Joining him is massively-adored Scottish DJ Hannah Laing, who has a busy year with countless festivals and raves booked in. There’s also hard techno king blk., multi-genre dabbler Paul Woodford, and Trick’s Airwolf Paradise. 

Only 5,000 tickets are available for this one. That may seem like there are enough to go around, but these are some seriously well-respected names and, of course, Terminal V’s on board. So they’re certain to fly out.

Where: Blackstone Street Warehouse in Liverpool

Following the announcement of an event that sold out rapidly, elrow has blessed the people with another bank holiday date so you can get your party on to some massive names at Liverpool’s Blackstone Street Warehouse. 

This bank holiday rave flaunts a seriously tasty lineup with Armand van Helden, Yousef B2B Tini Gessler, Fleur Shore, SOSA, Iglesias, and Nicolas Caprile for an all-day-long affair. 

As always with elrow, you’re guaranteed wild production, the hottest sounds in house, and an unbeatable atmosphere. Get over for a bank holiday you won’t forget with 10,000 other ravers.

Back 2 Soul Festival

When: Friday 11th August 2023

Where: Dreamland in Margate, Kent

The soothing, heavenly sounds of soul are coming to Margate’s Dreamland in August for an ethereal day festival beneath the summer sun. 

More artists are to be announced for the festival but what we do know is two-time BRIT, two-time MOBO, and Ivor Novello award winner Gabrielle will be headlining. She’s joined by plenty of soul legends including Soul II Soul, known for blending soul, funk and reggae, Ce Ce Peniston, Alison Limerick, and Julie McKnight. 

Dreamland is a huge music venue that’s seen a variety of genres over recent times. Perfect for a family day out, there are vintage rides, art installations, street food stalls, and pop-up entertainment.

Elation x ACLP - AZYR / CLTX / Fionn Curran / Jezza & Jod

When: Saturday 12th August 2023

Where: Liquid Room, Edinburgh in Edinburgh

Elation is an Edinburgh events brand that invites international artists to the city to perform at their uniquely curated techno events. For this one, they’ve linked up with Glasgow-based promoters ACLP, who’s donned themselves as “Specialists in high-energy events and raves.”

This full Liquid Rooms complex takeover sees AZYR, CLTX, Fionn Curran, Jezza & Jod, Lauz, and A-05 on the decks. A special guest headliner is still to be announced but it’s already looking like a stunner. A late one, Liquid Rooms has a 5 am licence!

Skyline feat - Dave Seaman, Anthony Pappa, BOg & Fur Coat

When: Sunday 27th August 2023 

Where: Radisson Red Glasgow in Glasgow

Skyline specialises in putting on banging rooftop parties with the best electronic tunes. 

Coming in with a monster prog house lineup for a sunny bank holiday Sunday in August, they’ve brought back some fan favourites to get punters jumping. They’ve got the internationally acclaimed Dave Seaman B2B with award-winning Australian DJ Anthony Pappa, and Fur Coat B2B BOg. 

Dave Seaman makes his Skyline debut, Anthony Pappa in a Skyline Scottish exclusive, Fur Coat makes his Scottish debut, and BOg returns after an exceptional debut in December. A super unique event.

Bassfest

When: Saturday 29th - Sunday 30th July 2023

Where: Don Valley Bowl in Sheffield

This multi-genre outdoor summer fest is back in Sheffield this July with some massive names across drum and bass, house, UKG, bassline, grime, hip-hop, techno and more. 

The two-day fest is spread over ten arenas with over 100 artists. Artists on the lineup include Bugzy Malone, Sammy Virji, Sub Focus, Shy FX, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Hedex, Girls Don't Sync, Ben Hemsley, Ewan McVicar, Charlie Tee, Mozey, and Hannah Laing. But there are so, so many more.

Dream Valley Festival

When: Friday 25th August 2023

Where: Damyns Hall Aerodrome in Upminster

Dream Valley returns on the August bank holiday weekend to deliver house, techno, electronic, and so much more. 

Some stand-out names on the lineup include Dimitri From Paris, 999999999, Nico Moreno, Hannah Wants, Claptone, Low Steppa, Azyr, blk., Darius Syrossian, The Shapeshifters, and Prunk. But there are so many more

Head to the immersive playground area and unleash your inner child with fairground rides, inflatables, and games, check out Art In The Park and discover immersive art installations. Or head to Just Breathe, a wellbeing area with all sorts on like classes, yoga and drumming. There's also street food served in a festival-style banquet.
