Are you still saying booo in the rave? We are. It’s a UKG thing, after all. To put it bluntly, there aren’t many better things in life than a garage festival. You’ve got beats, bass and bars all rolled into one, inviting you to dance, screw up your face and put your hands in the air.
If you spent your formative years raving to DJ EZ and Tuff Jam or are partial to the sounds of Sammy Virji, Oppidan and Y U QT, then you’re in for a treat this summer. The UK is stacked with festivals dedicated to bringing all your favourite garage legends to one place, whether that’s in big indoor venues, coastal suntraps or outdoor courtyards.

Garage Nation Outdoor Festival

Can you believe it’s been 29 years since Garage Nation began? One of the scene’s premier events, Garage Nation’s outdoor festival is a chance to two-step all day to some of the best garage DJs and MCs.
So if you fancy transporting yourself back to the tape pack days, this one’s for you. Garage legend Martin “Liberty” Larner will take to the decks, bringing back all the Exposure and Club Liberty vibes in the process. But that’s not all. Pied Piper, Artful Dodger, Oxide & Neutrino and more will also grace the stage, and we reckon Morden Park will erupt once the opening bars of ‘Bound 4 da Reload’ hit the speakers.

Where: Luna Springs in Digbeth, Birmingham

Frequency Festival returns to Luna Springs this year, and they’re bringing back the one and only DJ EZ.
Whether you’re a garage diehard or you’ve always wanted to witness EZ’s technical mastery first-hand, this is one for the bucket list. Known for his mind-blowing tricks on the CDJs and impeccable tune selection, he’s one of the scene’s enduring legends.
Plus, Frequency Festival takes place at Luna Springs, one of the city’s best venues when it comes to day parties in the sun.
As of now, only EZ has been announced. But based on previous years, we expect the lineup to be jam-packed with garage talent, both new and old-school.

Sidewinder Festival Manchester

Sidewinder is the original bass music event, and in 2026, it hits Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester for what looks to be another knockout year.
Some of the biggest garage hitters are on the lineup this year, with DJ Luck & MC Neat, Artful Dodger, DJ Cartier, MC Kie, Heartless Crew, Sweet Female Attitude and Kele Le Roc all ready to get you and your mates moving.
But it’s not all about garage. UK rap mainstays Tion Wayne and Mist are set to make appearances, while Mazza L20 and Kasst 8 fly the flag for the new generation of rap in Britain. Add bassline heavyweight DJ Q, UK Funky pioneers like Crazy Cousinz, and you’ve got a proper bass music blowout with all styles covered.

Garage Republic Festival Birmingham

Where: LAB11 in Digbeth, Birmingham
2026 lineup: Artful Dodger, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Oxide & Neutrino, Heartless Crew, Kele Le Roc, Harvey, Lisa Maffia & Romeo & 24hr Garage Girls
If you’re in Birmingham and love UKG, you’d be missing a trick not heading to Garage Republic. For one, it’s at LAB11, one of the city’s best venues. It boasts a soundsystem tailor-made for garage, and you’ll feel every thump of bass through the speakers.
Second, just take a look at that lineup. You’ve got Kele Le Roc supplying her timeless vocals, Heartless Crew getting the crowd hype and Oxide & Neutrino providing nothing but bangers. That’s without mentioning Artful Dodger, Lisa Maffia & Romeo and DJ Luck & MC Neat. Legends upon legends, here.
And if you’re not in Brum, Garage Republic will be stopping off in Leeds, Sheffield and Nottingham this summer, too.

If you’re in Norwich, Earlham Park is already a go-to spot to soak up the summer rays. But once you add in a load of old-school garage, drum and bass and house acts to the mix? That might take it up a notch or two.
That’s exactly what Junction 42 does. 2026 marks the festival’s second year, promising four stages packed with bass-driven sounds and a crowd ready to party from start to finish.
There’s no lineup news as of yet, but last year featured the likes of Artful Dodger, K Motionz, Inja and Charlie Tee. We’re expecting even more heat this year.

Bournefest looks absolutely cracking. A new addition to this year’s festival calendar, it takes place over Western Lawns in Eastbourne. That means stunning coastal views, a beachside vibe and, of course, iconic garage tunes.
From Jaguar Skills and Shola Ama to DJ Target and Kele Le Roc, the lineup is stacked with names who helped shape the history of the genre. So, grab your mates, get down and spend the day dancing to the sweet sounds of UKG.

Summer Outdoor Garage Festival

Garage music was born in London, and it just feels right to dance to the sound in the capital.
This June, the Summer Outdoor Garage Festival takes over Studio 338, a club with arguably one of the best outdoor terrace areas in the country. It’s a fixture on the day party scene every year, and if previous editions are anything to go by, you can expect a huge lineup, large-scale production and delicious food to fuel your day of dancing under the sun.
