Festival season is so close we can already smell the beer and grass, and feel a little serotonin rushing beneath our skin as we prepare for the chaos we’ll be getting in with our mates in between checking out our favourite artists.
With festivals growing and growing in popularity, there are so many more to buzz over compared to a decade or so ago. So it’s easier for the best festivals to slip past us unnoticed. Let’s start off with a purely UKG festival, shall we? Champion of garage festivals, UK Garage By The Sea is a day fest by the team behind Southern Sunset Festival. The outdoor garage festival is set to welcome 5,000 ravers to its seaside setting this summer with some huge names from the scene on its lineup, like DJ Luck & MC Neat, Heartless Crew, Wideboys, and Oxide & Neutrino.
Going down at The Oval, the largest outdoor space in the area, there are plenty of transport connections nearby, and it’s just a short walk from Hastings mainline station with direct links to Brighton and London. Now in its fourth release, secure your tickets now to ensure you don’t miss out. Oh, and tickets are a proper bargain at just £30.

If you’re wanting more UKG, the Saturday at Electric Bay will be more your vibe. But if you’re happy to skank and bob along to drum and bass, house, and dub, why not go for the whole weekend? Going down in Torquay this summer, not only will you be treated to the hottest electronic sounds, but the sun is certain to be out, spreading positivity and joy down on ravers.
Craig David presents TS5 headlines the Saturday with Pendulum taking the reigns on Sunday. Girls Don’t Sync and Sammy Virji will also be showcasing some fine UKG on the Saturday. If you fancy a bit of this, secure your tickets below.

2023 lineup: Y U QT, Sammy Virji, Girls Don't Sync, Conducta, Dr Dubplate, Surusinghe, Chase & Status, Shy FX, Interplanetary Criminal, Ewan McVicar, and many more
Multi-genre electronic fest Detonate has plenty of artists on its lineup to get UKG fans buzzing. Alongside the house, DnB, techno, and disco acts, there's Sammy Virji, Girls Don't Sync, Conducta and loads more delivering hot garage vibes. The fest boasts global street food, boat parties, cocktail bars, and fireworks to make the whole affair that bit more special.
Payment plan options are available to help spread the cost, but a fifth-release ticket is less than £60 for a full day of tunes by over 50 acts across seven stages. Bargain.

51st Festival has a massive lineup this year spanning UK garage, house, hip-hop, soul and R&B, dancehall, soca and hip-hop, and afrobeats. The lineup for this year, and every other year for that matter, is overflowing with pioneers and legends from all over including the UK, the US, the Caribbean, and more.
The fest has been going strong since 2015 and is truly heaven for music fans that possess a wide musical palette. If you’re looking for fantastic UK garage festivals with plenty of other soundscapes on offer, 51st is the one.

Reload Festival - UKG In The Forest

One of the best UK garage festivals, Reload is a UKG-focused forest festival in Nottingham. The team haven’t revealed the lineup yet but they’ve promised the biggest UKG lineup. To give you an idea of what to expect, last year saw DJ Luck & MC Neat, Heartless Crew, DJ Spoony, Pied Piper & Masters Of Ceremonies, Romeo & Lisa Maffia, Oxide & Neutrino, Matt Jam Lamont, Interplanetary Criminal and more.
With the biggest names on the scene and wild crowds, Reload is a fantastic UK garage festival worth checking out this summer.

Where: The Digbeth Triangle in Birmingham, England
2023 lineup: Hamdi B2B MPH, Girls Don't Sync, Sammy Virji, Lee Hasty, Joris Bohnson, Shorterz, Jack Young, Hybrid Minds, Shy FX, Ben Hemsley, Holy Goof, Mozey, and many more
Since its 2014 debut, MADE has become one of the biggest festivals in the Midlands for music fans who just want to dance all day long. As you can see above, there are plenty of UKG artists alongside drum and bass, house, tech house, and bass music artists.
Head over to Digbeth Triangle to hear some of the hottest sounds spun by some of the biggest artists and DJs in the world. Check out street art, installations, street food, and live demonstrations in between sets before heading back in to dance your troubles away.

Leicester's biggest summer dance festival is back again after a stunning debut last year. Here, you can have a spin on some wild fairground rides, try local food trailers, and, of course, check out over 30 of the biggest DJs on the scene right now across the three stages.
At Beyond, you can expect to hear a pretty wide variety of tunes including UKG (duh), drum and bass, house, techno, jungle, disco, R&B, and so much more. Back for its second year now, the team behind the fest have stepped up its game with more rides, stage improvements, and more to ensure this year smashes last year's out the park.
