Two weeks until Christmas, two weeks until Christmas, two weeks until Christmas! You can tell we’re excited, can’t you? You just can’t beat all that food, the presents, and the fact we have a pass to lounge on the sofa and do nothing but munch on chocolate for a few days until we get into those Boxing Day raves. Lovely. 

That also means it's just 20 days until New Year’s Eve! While we do miss the summer sun, December is a brilliant month for going out with countless New Year’s Eve and even New Year’s Day events going down everywhere. 

But back to our lovely new events. 

This week we’ve got four cracking 2024 festivals - Junction 2, We Are FSTVL, Groovebox Pride, and Misfits, and raves with Funk Tribu, Amplify, Andy C, and more.

Chase and Status Live - Milton Keynes Bowl

When: Saturday 10th August 2024

Where: The National Bowl in Milton Keynes

The biggest artist in DnB, Chase & Status, comes to MK Bowl next year with a world-class lineup of support. 

The Baddadan legends recently dropped the first phase of the lineup, revealing some support acts for the open-air summer show. Already, we've got Hedex B2B Bou, Sammy Virji, and Sherelle to look forward to, and more names are still to be announced! 

With countless bangers under their belt and some of the most promising names on the scene right now as support, this one’s going to be truly mind-blowing.

PRTY Presents Funk Tribu

When: Saturday 10th February 2024

Where: SWG3 in Glasgow

Colombian-born Funk Tribu brings his bouncy trance fusion sound to SWG3, possibly the best rave spot in the whole of Glasgow. 

You probably know him from his absolute banger Phonky Tribu, which has almost 79 million Spotify streams. Bouncy, a bit dark, and a mad music video to tie it together, if you don’t know what we’re talking about, we urge you to check it out. 

Joining Funk Tribu are Doco, Heggemann, and Jude Bradshaw. Get us front-left!

Amplify & Friends - UK Tour

When: from Friday 1st March - Saturday 25th May 2024 

Where: Birmingham, Cardiff, Milton Keynes, Peterborough, Brighton, Nottingham, Bristol, London, and Exeter

Acclaimed DnB DJ/producer, Amplify, heads out on tour in spring next year, hitting both major cities, including Birmingham, Cardiff, London, and Bristol, and smaller ones like MK, Notts, and Peterborough.

Square One Lincoln: Andy C

When: Saturday 27th January 2024

Where: VOID Nightclub in Lincoln

Andy C, one of the best DJs of all time, comes to Lincoln’s best club to help you cure those January blues. 

The multi-award-winning DJ is recognised as one of the greatest in drum and bass, a pioneer that specialises in fast mixing. Andy C has lived and breathed DnB since he first snuck into a rave at 13. Now, with respect from almost every DnB head, he brings his passion to Lincoln’s VOID, a club known for its mad crowds.

VOIS also boasts mean, clean sound thanks to its VOID ACOUSTICS sound system that makes you feel the bass as it booms through your skull. More names will be announced soon, but to see such a legend in such an intimate, stripped-back venue is incredible in and of itself.

Between The Lines: Emma-Jean Thackray / Horse Meat Disco + A Love From Outer Space / Mala 

When: three events on Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th, and 25th February 2024

Where: Hare And Hounds Kings Heath in Birmingham

If you love house, funk, and disco, or dubstep, we’ve got you covered. And if you love enjoying music in intimate, iconic venues, you’ll love these Between The Lines shows. 

Emma-Jean Thackray and support play the Friday, Horse Meat Disco, A Love From Outer Space, and support play on the Saturday, and the Sunday brings Mala and support. Both the Friday and Saturday events bring house, funk, and disco vibes, while the Sunday with Mala is dubstep. 

Coming to the legendary and very intimate Hare And Hounds, a Grade II-listed venue that’s been around since 1820, these are going to be some super special shows, allowing music fans to get up close to the artists performing. Misfits Indoor Festival - Manchester

When: Saturday 30th March 2024

Where: O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester

Ben Nicky brings Misfits to Manchester on Easter Sunday for a night of relentless hard dance bangers.

Billy Gillies, David Rust, Maddix, Mish, Sub Zero Project, and more join Ben Nicky in the main room. While room two, hosted by Bounce Heaven, sees Andy Whitby, Hannah Taylor, Ben T, Rokit, Matt Wigman, Essential Bounce, and more. 

From 9pm until 4am, the gaff will be shaking with tunes from that stacked lineup taken up a level by an exclusive Misfit laser show. Misfit shows, as well as Ben Nicky’s last Manchester show, have sold out rapidly. So if you’ve been waiting for Misfits to finally come up north, you know what to do.

Dundee Dance Event Closing Party

When: Sunday 5th May 2024

Where: Aura Nightclub in Dundee

Originally launched in 1998, DDE gave talent a chance to shine as the largest event in the UK for showcasing local, up-and-coming DJs and artists from Dundee and beyond. The fest has since relaunched and remains the largest event of its kind in the UK. 

The festival is set to bring almost 200 Scottish DJs and artists to 30 venues before ending on a high, with the closing party once again taking place at Fat Sams (Aura Nightclub) on the bank holiday Sunday.

We Are FSTVL

Junction 2 Festival

When: Friday 26th - Sunday 28th July 2024

Where: Boston Manor Park in Brentford, London

Known for bringing cutting-edge electronic music to a unique location (under the M4), Junction 2 extends to three days in 2024, giving us one more glorious day of music, sun, and connection. So who’s playing?  

Friday is for melodic house and techno with Paul Kalkbrenner (live), Artbat, Yotto, Camelphat, and more. Saturday is about the dark, heavy side of techno with Adam Beyer B2B Amelie Lens, Jeff Mills, and Jon Hopkins. Finally, Sunday gets playful with disco and house sounds spun by the likes of Barry Can't Swim (live), The Blessed Madonna, Honey Dijon, and Joy (Anonymous).
