At the time of writing, in just 32 days, it'll be Friday the 25th of August AKA the final day of work before we slide our way into the August bank holiday weekend. So if you haven’t got any plans sorted yet, time is running out.

Mint Festival warm up Terrace Party
When: Sunday 27th August 2023
Where: Mint Warehouse in Leeds
One of the best clubs in Leeds, Mint Warehouse, is throwing its final terrace party of the year over the August bank holiday weekend.
In the daytime on the terrace is Darius Syrossian, playing a 5-hour extended set, Olive F, and more. The party moves to the main room in the evening, with Loco Dice, Annie Errez, and Bobby O'Donnell.

One of the best LGBTQ+ clubbing brands is taking over one of the best clubs in Manchester to deliver one of the biggest August bank holiday 2023 events.
Homoelectric residents and special guest DJs will be spinning house, techno, and disco at this rave for “homos, heteros, lesbos and don't knows.” And it's all going down at Hidden, a stripped-back, messy rave location perfect for escaping into the music and leaving all cares behind.

Dance events brand Muzak has teamed up with Groovebox (yep, the guys behind Groovebox Festival) to give us the bank holiday weekend of our dreams!
On this lineup for this house, deep house, and tech house party, we've got Roger Sanchez, one of the best DJs of all time. Joining him is rapidly-rising stars Belters Only, Jess Bays, Adrianna, and more.
Booming on from midday to 11 pm, this’ll be lush.

One of Bristol's best clubs is gifting us a 10-hour-long outdoor rave of pure oldskool UK garage anthems over a chunky Funktion One Sound System.

Jamaica Street Carnival Party 2023

Where: Camp And Furnace in Liverpool
Returning for its third year, the Jamaica Street Carnival Party boasts international live acts and local artists from reggae and dancehall, with some Afrobeat, UKG, and R&B.
The bash has both indoor and outdoor stages, an outdoor market, and promises its biggest lineup to date. To give you an idea of what to expect, in the past, they’ve welcomed performances from Kranium, David Rodigan and Stylo G.

When: Friday 25th - Sunday 27th August 2023
Where: Whitebottom Farm in Stockport (near Manchester)
Moovin is perfect for those who love lots of different genres, with house, drum and bass, soul, funk, and reggae artists making up the lineup.
There are both established artists and up-and-comers on the lineup including Craig Charles, Mr Scruff, Children of Zeus, Goldie (live), China Lilly, Sindysman, Ayahara, and loads more.
You can secure weekend tickets or day tickets to enjoy Moovin, a fest known for its wholesome, chilled-out vibes.

Continuing the ever-growing trend of performing the world's best-loved dance hits on an orchestra, Ministry of Sound Classical breathes new life into your favourite hits like Hey Boy Hey Girl, Insomnia, and Right Here, Right Now.
The 31-piece orchestra is set to make one of the best bank holiday weekend festivals, joined by Judge Jules, The Usual Suspect, Andy James, and Chris Walton.

With such a ridiculously beautiful lineup like that, we're baffled this one hasn't sold out already; there are still weekend and day tickets left!
Boasting both up-and-comers and legends, We Are FSTVL has covered most corners of the electronic spectrum. There's techno, drum and bass, house, tech house, disco, garage, and more.
Honestly, it’ll be a bit of a nightmare deciding who to see with the inevitable clashes, especially after they just announced Skepta's just been added to the lineup. But what a privilege to have that predicament in the first place!

Where: North Lakes Country Park in Silloth, Cumbria
Not everyone digs electronic and that’s okay! Solfest, with reggae, indie, rock, folk, punk, and some sprinkles of hip-hop, DnB, and house might be a bit more your vibe.
Coming in with plenty of legends including Ocean Colour Scene, The Undertones, Peter Hook & The Light, The Libertines, Goldie, Wilkinson, Hollie Cook, and so many other incredible names, Solfest has to be one of the best independent fests.

Maiden Voyage has a gorgeous lineup and cheap tickets. UKG legend and one of the best DJs of all time, DJ EZ, is set to play alongside VTSS, Interplanetary Criminal, Job Jobse, JYOTY, Felo Le Tee, Richie Hawtin (hidden from the lineup posters), and more spanning Amapiano, techno, house, UKG, hip-hop, and more.
This year will be the fourth edition, with music across five stages, 20,000 music fans, and international artists in a gorgeous green location.
