It's only a couple of months until Mondays start feeling like the best day of the week. That’s right we’re talking about bank holidays, especially one in particular that keeps us pushing through summer; the August Bank Holiday. Here at Skiddle, we rank Bank Holidays quite high, considering they're literally the best thing that has ever happened to the UK since Chinese takeaways, and while the August Bank Holiday may seem far away, there is nothing wrong with a bit of festival prep

Known as the best time in the year with the combination of the sun (when the UK weather is feeling generous), and a bucketload of bevs leading to a hangover can officially be a Monday problem (result!). So whether you're looking for just a one-day event or a Bank Holiday extension to get leathered; we've got you covered.

So let us kickstart the buzz, and get into the best August Bank Holiday festivals and events in 2024, that’ll have you scouring the UK.
