New On Skiddle: Cream, Baltic Weekender, The Loft & more

We hope you enjoyed this weekend of summer heat as we now look forward to a beautiful forecast. Over the next few weeks we're supposed to have some glorious weather, so why not have a few events lined up to make sure that you're enjoying 2023 to its fullest?

To pique your interest in this week's New On Skiddle we have one of Manchester's best venues celebrating its birthday, Cream are heading to Montrose Town Hall again and the 2024 edition of Baltic Weekender has early bird tickets on sale now. All this and more make you absolutely spoilt for choice!

Cream At Montrose Town Hall

When: Saturday 11th November

Where: Montrose Town Hall, Montrose

Cream are back at Montrose Town Hall this year after a hugely impressive 2020 event saw them leave a huge impression on the area. This time around, they're bringing headliner Tall Pall with them, a DJ who started as far back as 1987 and has been producing dance anthems ever since.

He's worked with and remixed an enviable list of artists from New Order to Duran Duran and you will definitely hear some special mixes at this event.

The Loft 2nd Birthday Party

When: Saturday 22nd July

Where: The Loft MCR, Manchester

The Loft is a space in Manchester that you should definitely familiarise yourself with if you haven't had the chance to already. A space for incredible raves, check out their second birthday party in July that will feature some of their favourites returning to reign supreme on the decks.

This includes Truly Madly, Voigtmann, Lola Haro and Ethan McNamara, with a mixture of House and Electro on offer.

Kaluki Musik Label Showcase

When: Saturday 22nd July

Where: The Progress Centre, Manchester

The Progress Centre will be hosting the Kaluki Music Label Showcase, where they will be bringing down some of their most prestigious talents to get ravers moving all day long. Bontan, Jansons, Joey Daniel and Pirate Copy will all be brought out to delight you with Techno grooves.

One of the premier Techno labels about, don't miss this one.

Baltic Weekender 2024

When: Friday 31st May- Saturday 1st June 2024

Where: Baltic Triangle, Liverpool

It is fair to say that Baltic Weekender 2023 has been a huge success. Taking place at Liverpool's Baltic Triangle, they just had DJs such as Sammy Virji, Interplanetary Criminal and Folamour play. It is the kind of place where you can see sets from the best upcoming talents.

It will be the same case in 2024 and you can secure your early bird ticket now to beat the price rises and guarantee your spot at a festival that combines worldwide names with local selectors.

Raves Of Longton 2- The Return

When: Saturday 29th July

Where: Aynsley Mill, Longton, Stoke-On-Trent

This event is a chance for you to celebrate Stoke's rave history. Bringing together Old Skool DJs from the region, this will be a time warp that takes you back to the Shelley's and Longton Leisure Bowl scene. Peter Bromley, Daz Willott, Altern-8 and more will all be there.

There will be so much experience in one room, all perfectly attuned to get your feet moving all day.

Jungle Gathering Wolverhampton

When: Saturday 23rd September

Where: The Hangar, Wolverhampton

This is one of the UK's biggest Jungle reunion events. Celebrating the golden era of the genre, The Hangar will see a selection of legends returning for what is a massive line-up. Bassman, Spyda, DJ Hype, Nicky Blackmarket and more will all be there to celebrate.

Re-Live Inverurie With Tall Paul

When: Saturday 30th Septmeber

Where: Inverurie Town Hall, Inverurie

The second event on this list to see the mighty Tall Paul as a headliner, he is making his way around the UK this year as this time, he touches down in Inverurie for Re-Live. It'll be a pleasure for them to welcome one of the original superstar DJs for what will be a memorable set.

Groovebox Presents: Electric Garden Festival

When: Saturday 23rd September

Where: Venue TBA, Nottingham

This event is not on sale until Thursday 15th June but Electric Garden Festival, presented by Groovebox have dropped their amazing line-up for the festival. It will feature electronic superstars Pendulum headlining with a DJ set as well as Franky Wah, Rebuke and many others.
