We don't about you, but this glorious sunshine has got us longing for days to come; living our best lives with our fellow party compatriots in the festival fields, drinking cocktails poolside on the infamous White Isle (That's right, Ibiza is back!), and raving all day and night on the sun-trap terraces of our favourite go-to night clubs. Oh yes, the season of new beginnings is here. It's time to wipe the slate clean and prepare for the first fully unrestricted year of partying since 2019.

Leighton Live 2022

Where: Leighton Hall in Lancashire 

A brand new festival is set to debut in Lancashire this June, celebrating the Queens special Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend - Leighton Live.

The three-day event will see an array of music icons, the likes of UK reggae greats, UB40, disco pioneers, Sister Sledge, Hacienda DJ, Graeme Park and the impressive Halle Orchestra, performing to the masses upon the breathtaking grounds of the Leighton Hall Estate in Carnforth.

ENRG presents George Fitzgerald & Giulia Tess

The knowledgable heads operating behind the ENRG event brand have conjured up yet another outstanding night of dance music.

Coming to the Liverpool venue, 24 Kitchen Street are two of the most respected and current names operating in electronic music - homegrown talent, George Fitzgerald and Italian-born leftfield artist, Giulia Tess.

Providing an evening of unique and unadulterated dance music, those present on the night can expect to hear a refreshingly quirky soundtrack packed full of alternative house bangers.

Groove Armada 25 - Live in Bristol

When: Friday 29th July 2022

Where: Amphitheatre And Waterfront Square in Bristol

The influential, chart-topping, Grammy nominated dance duo have announced their last-ever tour in 2022, after twenty five years in the business, with dates confirmed to happen in venues and at festivals across the UK and beyond throughout the year.

Spawned from a London-based club night of the same name in the 90s, Groove Armada, AKA Andy Cato and Tom Findlay, have since become one of most successful dance acts in British music history. With massive anthems such as 'At The River', their first-ever single, and 'Superstylin'' in their repertoire, it's easy to see why the pair have always been a welcomed addition to any lineup.

Bid these two icons of dance music a fond farewell at Bristol's Amphitheatre And Waterfront Square this July.

Sean Paul live in Birmingham

When: Friday 26th August 2022

Where: Forum Birmingham in Birmingham

Jamaican dancehall superstar and rap legend, Sean Paul has announced another jaunt around the UK this spring/summer, with dates scheduled in Newcastle, Nottingham, Glasgow and Birmingham.

One of the most distinctive voices in modern-day reggae, the forty-nine-year-old is a bonafide hit maker with no fewer than twenty top forty singles to his name - including 'Rockabye' with Clean Bandit, which spent nine consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the UK singles chart, 'Get Busy', and 'Baby Boy' with queen of pop, Beyonce. 

The Grammy award winner will bring his energetic live show to fans in Birmingham on Friday 26th August, kick starting the late August Bank Holiday weekend in the capital of The Midlands. Don't miss your chance to see the legend live in action.

Future Movements Festival 2022

Grab your passport, pack your sunnies and book your tickets for this year's edition of Future Movements Festival.

The overseas special, taking place over two days on the sun-soaked island of Cyprus, this July, will see a score of lofty house and techno names flying in from across the globe, to spin some of the naughtiest records heard this side of the Mediterranean. 

On the lineup so far are DJs including Marco Bailey, Cassy, Davide Squillace, London-based up and comer, Will Taylor, Carnao Beats and Argentinian powerhouse, Guti.

Bongo's Bingo at Cheshire Fest 2022

After a two-year long hiatus, Cheshire's premier festival event, Cheshire Fest returns for another hugely exciting instalment in 2022.

Another huge Bank Holiday blowout, Pure Garage London is set to go OFF on Sunday 1st May, in one of the capital's most iconic music venues - Electric Brixton .

Celebrating twenty-two years in the game, the event brand has brought together a long list of UKG stars, including legends of the scene, Artful Dodger, Sweet Female Attitude, Kele Le Roc, MC Creed and more, for an unforgettable birthday bash.

We Are Brave presents Alan Fitzpatrick

Yousef's CIRCUS have teamed up with innovative record label and event brand, We Are The Brave to bring techno commander, Alan Fitzpatrick to Liverpool's Invisible Wind Factory this spring, for a night of fast and uncompromising, hard-hitting beats.

Getting in on the action, support comes in the form of Italian superstar, Marco Faraone, the young talent making waves in the house and techno scene, Southampton native and JUNK resident, Ronnie Spiteri, and fast-rising groove expert, Tenzella

Take Off Festival 2022

That's right, Take Off Festival is back this year, returning to one of Europes busiest nightlife destinations - Malia on the Greek island of Crete. The summer event, running over seven nights in late-June, will see some of the UK's biggest event promoters joining forces to pull off one of the most outrageous parties the islands of the Aegean Sea have ever seen.

Defected in Ibiza Festival 2022

For the first time since 2019, Ibiza will reopen its doors to ravers from around the world this year. At long last, it's time to get back to it, to the sunset jams at Cafe Mambo and the all night stints at superclubs the likes of Eden, Amnesia and Ushuaïa. And what Ibiza season would be complete without an appearance from Defected Records? 

Unofficially cutting the red tape, as it were, and welcoming dance lovers back to the Isle, Defected Records have organised a run of parties, a festival as such, to accordingly kick start the forthcoming summer season. Parties running across the May Day Bank Holiday weekend will see esteemed producers and DJs such as Honey Dijon, Derrick Carter, Dan Shake and Defected Records boss, Simon Dunmore, bringing house music back to Balearic hot spot.
