Download Festival has just dropped a seismic 2026 lineup, confirming Limp Bizkit, Guns N’ Roses, and Linkin Park as headliners - all of which are UK festival exclusives this year. Returning to its spiritual home at Donington Park from 10–14 June 2026, the festival will celebrate its 23rd edition with a monumental mix of legends, icons, and new blood across rock, metal, punk, and alt.

It’s a historic moment for Limp Bizkit, headlining Download for the first time in their 31-year career. Expect chaos, nostalgia, and the crowd-wide carnage that Fred Durst loves to ensue; Guns N’ Roses return to Donington for the first time since 2018, exactly 20 years after their first Download headline slot; while Linkin Park will close the weekend with an emotional, long-awaited comeback, fronted by new vocalist Emily Armstrong alongside Mike Shinoda and Co.

Tickets for the molten hot 23rd edition of Download, reborn and recharged in 2026 as DLXXIII, are on sale now

Beyond the headliners, over 90 more acts join the bill, including Pendulum, Cypress Hill, The All-American Rejects, Bad Omens, Trivium, Halestorm, BABYMETAL, Electric Callboy, Architects, Mastodon, Tom Morello, Feeder, Dogstar (Keanu Reeves), Bush, Ash, letlive., Black Veil Brides, and many more. From nu-metal nostalgia to hardcore intensity and genre-bending modern rock, this year’s lineup reads like a greatest hits of global heavy music.

The announcement was unveiled in true Download fashion with a VIP launch event at the Barbican, featuring an exclusive short film, live string quartets, and an introduction to The Apex Rings — a custom creation by Download and The Great Frog in honour of the 2026 headliners, and giving fans a taste of what's to come at DLXXIII
