Northern trance giants Goodgreef have teamed up with Eddie Halliwell's party starting Fire It Up brand to throw one of the biggest trance events in the North East. Having previously hosted the likes of Hardwell, Dannic and Zedd at the last two sell out events, this time out looks like Fire It Up will be outdoing itself once more.

Eddie Halliwell will be the main man behind the decks. The DJing legend is a man in need of little introduction. After bursting onto the scene in 2002, he was soon recognized as "as one of brightest talents of his generation". Renowned for his spooky ability to read the crowd, Eddie became a regular feature of Judge Jules' Judgement Sundays in Ibiza, and saw him perform a number of times with Oakenfold and the Cream brand, becoming a star of the festival, club and Ibiza circuits.

Now without a doubt one of the most loved and respected DJs and producers, his career in the last ten years has been nothing short of breathtaking. With appearances at events such as Electric Daisy Carnival (Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Dallas), Love Festival (San Francisco), Summer Daze (Australia), Green Valley (Brazil), Sunrise Festival (Poland) as well as the UK’s Global Gathering, Creamfields and Global Gathering, Eddie Halliwell has established himself as a world beater in the trance world.

Watch: Porter Robinson - Language

Joining Mr Halliwell will be young EDM upstart and wunderkind Porter Robinson. Last year saw the young american star at some of the globe’s biggest dance music festivals, from Electric Daisy Carnival (where he appears this year), Ultra Music Festival (and again), Electric Zoo, Coachella, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza and Daresbury Estates very own Creamfields. His massive first release Spitfire on Skrillex’ label OWSLA made the world sit up and take notice. The EDM producer casually wades between dubstep, house and trance influences to create his own brand of hands in the air euphoric bliss. His set at Goodgreef & Fire It Up’s Middlesbrough August Bank Holiday extravaganza will be a must see opportunity to catch the supremely talented producer away from the festival stage.

Joining these two big hitters will be rising stars in the making - Kryder, D.O.D, Bryan Kearney, Arctic Moon and Angry Man.
