Back for the fourth instalment, Ultra Europe is the largest electronic music festival ever to take place on Croatian soil. Conceived in the summer of 2013, and taking place each July on Croatia’s beautiful Dalmatian coastline ever since, the festival has attracted some of the biggest DJs and live acts in the world including Above & Beyond, Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Alesso, Avicii, Carl Cox, Chase & Status, David Guetta, Dillon Francis, Diplo, Disclosure, Erick Morillo, Example, Fedde Le Grand, Hardwell, Jamie Jones, Knife Party, Krewella, Laidback Luke, Luciano, Marco Carola, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Nic Fanciulli, Paul van Dyk, Porter Robinson, Pretty Lights, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Aoki, Tiesto and W&W to name just a few.

In 2014, the festival expanded from two to three days, welcoming over 150,000 fans from 125 countries around the world (12 of which had never visited Croatia before) to dance through the night at the Poljud Stadium in the historic city of Split, with over 1.6 million watching via the official UMF TV livestream.  In addition, each year Ultra Europe has hosted its celebrated 'Ultra Beach' event—an exclusive 5,000 capacity pool party at the Hotel Grand Amfora on the nearby Island of Hvar.

2015 saw Ultra Europe expand to a weeklong festival, with events spanning seven consecutive days. In addition to the flagship three-day festival at the Poljud Stadium and the legendary Ultra Beach pool party on Hvar Island, Ultra Europe now curates an official Warm Up Party, an innovative Ultra Europe Regatta and an official Closing Party on the island of Vis.

Notable performances in 2016 came from deadmau5, Hardwell and Armin van Buuren on the Ultra Main Stage.

History of Ultra Europe

?Electronic music is one of the most popular and fastest growing musical genres in the world, and the Ultra Music Festival has been recognized as one of the leading festivals of that genre. Taking into consideration the developed scene in Croatia and the excellent reputation of Split and Hvar as top tourist destinations recognized in Europe and around the world, the decision to organize Ultra Europe in Croatia was easy to make. We strongly believe that electronic music fans are aware of what Ultra Music Festival represents and will come in great numbers to Split and Hvar this July.?, stated Russell Faibisch ? CEO of Ultra Enterprises.

Joe Basic, director of Adria MM Production ? the Croatian partner and co-organiser of the festival ? added:
?Ultra Europe Festival is undoubtedly one of the most important music events..., not only in Croatia but in Europe. That is why we are very proud that we as local partners can give our support and host such a reputable event in Split and Hvar. There is no question that Ultra Music Festival will be an attraction in the historical and beautiful cities of Split and Hvar.
