Wychwood Festival

Wychwood Festival takes place 4 - 6 June 2027.

Wychwood Festival is located at Cheltenham Racecourse, Evesham Rd, Cheltenham GL50 4SH.

Wychwood Festival is an all ages event.  Children aged under 10 are free to enter the festival, but you still need to order a free ticket for them to gain entry to the festival.

National Express runs coaches to Cheltenham that arrive at the Royal Well Bus Station. These services are available from most major cities, including Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff and London. http://www.nationalexpress.com

Cheltenham Spa is the nearest train station to Wychwood Festival. Check out the national rail website http://www.nationalrail.co.uk for times and prices or call 08457 48 49 50. There are direct services from London Paddington, Bristol, Birmingham, Swindon, Cardiff, Plymouth, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Buses run regularly from the town centre, the bus station and the railway station direct to the racecourse and Wychwood Festival. Route D runs from the train station passing through the city centre at Clarence St which is within walking distance of the bus station. The bus leaves every 10 minutes during the day and between 10 minutes and every hour in the evenings from Monday to Saturday. The services run hourly on Sundays.

Cycling is a cheap and environmentally friendly way to get to Wychwood Festival. There are 52 secure bicycle parks next to the Centaur and the Best mate enclosure entrances to the racecourse.

Situated at junctions 10, 11 and 11a of the M5, Cheltenham lies within the main motorway network in easy reach of London, Bristol and Birmingham. If traveling to Wychwood Festival from the north on the M5 it is possible to leave from junction 9 and take the A435 south. The racecourse can also be reached from the East and West by the A40.

Wychwood Festival has 4 wonderful campsites beneath the Prestbury Hills at Wychwood Festival, complete with areas for caravans, campervans and luxury camping options.

Facilities for campers include hot showers and a lock-up to store any valuables.

Wychwood Festival's campsites are all located within a short walk from the festival main arena and the whole site is very compact and easy to get around with plenty of flat paths that are ideal for wheelchairs and buggies.

To make life easier for guests, campsite drop-off areas are provided on arrival and departure, so you can drive closer to the campsite to unload before parking your car in the car park.

The closest campsite to the Wychwood Festival main arena, this site is reserved for Accessibility ticket holders and offers easy access to accessible toilets and showers.

There is a separate field for campervans and caravans at Wychwood Festival. An additional Campervan Pass is needed to gain access to this field. You are able to have one tent or awning alongside your camper/caravan.
