We are back once again with the March edition of Last Laugh, where we look at all the best comedy events on sale on Skiddle in 2024; check them out below!

It's Arch, and we're finally starting to see the first signs of things getting better, with the nights getting shorter and the weather warmer. In our opinion, this is the best time to get something booked, so you can have even more things to be excited about. Throughout the month, and into the warmer months of 2024, we've got a huge variety of comedy shows for you to test your funny bone at. From huge comedy festivals with a castle as a backdrop; to nights from the biggest names in comedy like Sara Pascoe and Maisie Adam; to several multi-comedian variety nights where you truly get bang for your buck, and a proper good giggle to go alongside. Whatever you're after, we've got all the gigs to satiate your comedy needs in the coming months.

Comedy at the Castle

When: Friday 24th - Sunday 26th May 2024

Where: Warwick Castle in Warwick

Following its massively successful debut year in 2023, Closeup Comedy, the midland's best comedy night, are returning to the picturesque backdrop of Warwick Castle with 'Comedy at the Castle'! A weekend of comedy catered by the amazing Digbeth Dining Club.

Steeped in history and grandeur, the Castle will play host to some of the biggest names in the world of comedy, all of whom will have your funny bone tickled like never before!

Such names coming to the Castle in 2024 include Simon Amstell, Nina Conti, Rory Bremner, Maisie Adam, Gary Delaney, Angela Barnes, Janine Harouni, Spencer Jones, Eshaan Akbar, Stephen Bailey, Matt Richardson, Matt Bragg, and resident Closeup Comedy host, Freddy Quinne.

Good Ship Comedy feat. Sara Pascoe

When: Friday 7th June 2024

Where: The Birds in London

Good Ship Comedy is sailing out east for the first time ever, and bringing one of the funniest headliners in the Biz, Sara Pascoe, to Leystone!

Sara Pascoe is one of the biggest stars in British stand-up right now. A regular on Live At The Apollo, QI, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and Mock The Week among others, her calling card is her perfectly wrought mixture of a rigorously academic mind unafraid to cover any topic and a sense of humour that is childishly naive and razor sharp.  A best-selling author thanks to her book 'Animal', Sara's appeal is vastly wide-ranging and growing every day.  If you want to have your mind expanded whilst laughing like a merry idiot, Sara is the comic for you. Grab tickets below!

Fresh from Live At The Apollo, A League Of Their Own and Have I Got News For You, Maisie Adam is heading back out on tour with a brand new show. 

She’s five years into her job as a comedian now, so she’s due an appraisal. Join her for the ultimate performance review,  where you’ll either see just why she was awarded Best New Act and nominated Best Newcomer…or, you’ll see someone who’s ready for “organisational restructure”.

Sarah Keyworth is back with a brand new, joyous show about family, acceptance and a pair of big (well, not super big) losses. They are one of the funniest comics in the game and this hilarious and heartwarming show about Top Surgery, Gender, ADHD, Generational acceptance, and so much more, is an absolute riot.

CLOSEUP COMEDY at Herberts Yard w/ Hal Cruttenden and more

When: Wednesday 20th March 2024

Where: Herberts Yard in Birmingham

After one hell of a year with 15 SOLD OUT shows on the spin, CLOSEUP COMEDY is back at Herberts Yard for 2024 on the first Wednesday of every month.

This Edition of Closeup is absolutely stacked! With Hal Cruttenden (Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week and so much more) headlining, Louise Young (2023 Edinburgh Fringe Comedy Award); Daliso Chaponda (Britains Got Talent Runner Up); and  Resident MC, Freddy Quinne. It's going to be a belter at Herberts Yard. 

Street food courtesy of Digbeth Dining Club will also be returning, so makes rue to get down early to munch on some top-tier grub!

Dan Nightingale & Fiends - PINS Liverpool

After two hugely successful national comedy tours, Dan Nightingale (host of the Have A Word Podcast) is doing something a little different in 2024: He's hosting a run of shows with some of his favourite comedians on the bill. With Dan doing what he does best and some of his very funny Stand-Up friends (or fiends) smashing sets... you won't want to miss out.

On this night at PINS in Liverpool, Dan welcomes Mark Nelson, Dean Coughlin & a special guest for a night of incredible stand-up and the best type of comedy mayhem.

The CCC with Dan Nightingale

Where: St Marys Creative Space in Chester

The Comedians Club Chester is one of the best new comedy clubs in the North West. Laughter pours out of the incredible converted church that is St Mary's Creative Space for one Saturday every month and the gigs are hosted by one half of the Have A Word Podcast, Dan Nightingale. 

This time around, Dan will be joined by the weird and wonderful Mancunian king that is Jamie Hutchinson; the small and angry BBC New Comedy Awards finalist, Hannah Platt; and the seasoned Preston funny man Chris Washington. It's going to be a cracker in Chester, grab your tickets now!
