Radiohead and Kings of Leon confirmed for Lollapalooza Berlin

The German festival powerhouse announces a glut of names for this year's gathering.

Radiohead continue their assault on this summer's European festival scene with the news that they will headline Lollapalooza Berlin. The German edition of the legendary US touring festival returns to the German capital at Treptower Park between September 10th and 11th.

Thom Yorke and co will headline the Sunday of the 2016 event with Kings of Leon, New Order, Major Lazer, Catfish and the Bottlemen, The 1975, James Blake and Jess Glynne among the other big names appearing.

Lollapalooza Berlin is the latest festival appearance confirmed by the indie experimentalists, with the Oxford band also recently announcing headline slots at Primavera Sound in Spain, OpenAir St Gallen Festival in Switzerland, Secret Solstice in Iceland and NOS Alive Portugal.

2016 is set to be a brilliant year for Radiohead fans with the band expected to release their first new album since 2011's King of Limbs later this year.
