Getting it back together after a bank holiday weekend and a four-day workweek can be tough. But, thankfully, we’ve got some brilliant new events for you to check out that should hopefully make the week ahead seem more tolerable. 

This week, we’ve got some fantastic new events including Sam Ryder in Manchester, two DNB Collective events in Birmingham, Balter Festival’s September weekender, two Louis Berry gigs, a cracking lineup at Glasgow's Riverside Museum featuring Skin On Skin, they's Hot Queer Summer, and more.

Balter - Baskerville Hall 10th Birthday Special


When: Friday 27th - Sunday 29th September 2024

Where: BASKERVILLE HALL in Hay-on-Wye

Coming through with a special one-off event, the team behind Balter Festival brings us a 10th birthday bash in September. 

Going back to where it all started in 2014, Balter takes over the festival's birthplace of Baskerville Hall, bringing a birthday weekender we won't soon forget. 

Not much has been revealed about the weekender yet but we know we’ll get a lineup that’ll feature our favourite, classic Balter acts and some major headliners.

Louis Berry Liverpool & Glasgow 


When: Liv - Saturday 17th August 2024 / Glas - Saturday 27th July 2024

Where: Jacaranda Baltic in Liverpool & Stereo in Glasgow

Underground Scouse rock ‘n’ roll star Louis Berry plays a hometown gig in Liverpool and another in Glasgow, one of his favourite cities to gig in. 

Performing both unreleased tunes and the tracks he’s known for, he brings his brand of classic and gritty rock with elements of soul and country to two brilliant little venues. 

Winner of 2015’s One To Watch at Liverpool’s GIT Awards following his 2015 debut EP Rebel, Berry has since released plenty more music with his debut album Family Man on the way. Get down for a singalong!

WAH10 Leeds | Hybrid Minds, K Motionz, Sota, Pola & Bryson &more


When: Friday 27th September 2024

Where: TESTBED in Leeds

Another brilliant addition to TESTBED’s end-of-year clubbing calendar, Worried About Henry takes over the warehouse venue to celebrate ten years with some of DnB’s favourite names. 

Hybrid Minds top the bill with Tempza for this one, joined by K Motionz, Pola & Bryson, Sota, Emily Makis & Hi-Phi, Quiss, Licia, and MCs IC3, Duskee, and Comma Dee. Heavy. 

Bringing over some of the genre’s biggest names and some up-and-comers, it’s the perfect event for enjoying your favourite artists and discovering new ones. And the best bit? Tickets are less than £20.

Barton LIVE: Sam Ryder


When: Sunday 28th July 2024

Where: Barton Aerodrome in Manchester

The Space Man is coming to Manchester! Best known for coming in second place in 2022’s Eurovision, Sam Ryder quickly won the hearts of the UK with his unreal vocal range, guitar-playing abilities, lovely personality, and massive hit ‘SPACE MAN’. 

Sitting comfortably with over 1.1 million monthly Spotify listeners, almost 64 million streams of his biggest hit, and a number-one debut album, the singer-songwriter comes to Barton Aerodrome for a glamorous pop-rock odyssey.

Birmingham Bassline Experience


When: Saturday 7th September 2024

Where: LAB11 in Birmingham

Birmingham Bassline is back and super early birds sold out rapidly! Birmingham Bassline takes over LAB11 for a day party from 3pm until 11pm in September, and it’s going to be hot.  

Not much has been revealed about the party yet but we know it’ll be at one of the best clubs in Birmingham and that the team behind it has promised to deliver a brilliant bassline lineup to the city’s ravers. What more could we ask for? 

Taking over the full complex, which includes open-air areas, it’s set to be a scorcher.

Skin On Skin, Kettama, La La, Hayley Zalassi & Dija


When: Saturday 31st August 2024

Where: Riverside Museum in Glasgow

Riverside Festival and Electric Frog have joined forces to bring us their first outdoor single-stage event at Riverside Museum in the summer.

Bringing some seriously hot names, Skin On Skin headlines for his Scottish exclusive. Joining him are KETTAMA and Glaswegian DJs La La, Hayley Zalassi, and DIJA

From 4pm until 11pm, the museum will be flooded with music pounding over a Danley Sound System, punctuated by LED screens, lasers, light shows, and Glasgow's famous party atmosphere. Head over for a rave by the river with street food by The Big Feed.

they - Hot Queer Summer: The Corset Club


When: Saturday 22nd June 2024

Where: The Corset Club in Glasgow

LGBTQ+ party brand ‘they’ is back with a handful of Hot Queer Summer pop-up parties in three new locations in Glasgow, and they’re kicking things off at The Corset Club. 

Corset Club, run by the queer community for the queer community, is a brand-new cocktail lounge and show bar where elegance meets excitement. Sharing the values of ‘they’, it’s a collab that was bound to happen. 

At this party, ‘they’ brings high-energy house and pop DJ sets and performances to the venue, creating a free-spirited party to remember. Expect plenty of positive, feel-good vibes at this summer queer party

DNB Collective: 25 Years Of Logan D


When: Friday 20th September 2024

Where: LAB11 in Birmingham

London DnB DJ and CEO of Low Down Deep Records, Logan D comes to LAB11 with his 25 Years Of Logan D tour. 

Known for hot tracks like ‘Giant killa bees’ with Dominator and his work ethic which saw him DJing on radio at just 15 years old and later founding his record label, Logan D is a name most DnB-obsessed ravers will be familiar with.

Found on plenty of the biggest drum and bass lineups and with over two decades of experience, you can trust him to deliver a set of serious tunes.

DNB Collective: The Invasion 3.0


When: Saturday 24th May 2025

Where: Birmingham City Centre in Birmingham

DNB Collective is set to bring its third instalment of The Invasion next May. The third instalment will see the collective continue to push the boundaries of drum and bass events. 

Not much has been revealed yet but we know they’re bringing never-seen-before B2B sets, next-level production, and some “naughty surprises”. 

For round three, they’re taking levelling up and over Birmingham City Centre and promising their "biggest lineup yet". This one will kick off at 2pm and take you to 11pm, making a cracking day party that’ll (hopefully) be blessed with some sun.
