With In It Together, Wide Awake, Black Isle Belter, and Got The Love Festivals now wrapped up after this weekend, we can officially say festival season is well underway!

In that spirit, this week’s New On Skiddle features Damnation Festivival’s Night of Salvation with Polish heavy-weights Decapitated. Alongside that, there’s also Parklife’s afterparty with Uncle Waffles, Jorja Smith in Ibiza, a hard techno rave with LESSSS, Darkside’s 25th celebratory rave, and more.

Rinse 30th anniversary presents Jorja Smith

Where: Ibiza Rocks Hotel in San Antonio

West Midlands’ modern R&B star Jorja Smith comes to Ibiza Rocks for her debut headline show!

Celebrating Rinse FM's 30th Anniversary, the ‘Be Honest’ and ‘Blue Lights’ singer will take to the stage at Ibiza’s primary pool party venue. The venue’s relationship with Rinse goes all the way back to the early 2010s. Ibiza Rocks was bringing sounds like hip-hop and UKG over to the island for the first time with Rinse playing a key role.

Now known for their parties spanning loads of genres, it’s Jorja Smith’s turn to tear up the stage. Adored for her stunning voice, the Walsall girl with over 12 million monthly Spotify listeners is sure to put on a show of a lifetime.

Official Parklife After Party with Uncle Waffles

When: Sunday 9th June 2024

Where: Gorilla in Manchester

Got tickets for Parklife but want to keep the good times rolling once the festival site has closed? The princess of amapiano Uncle Waffles continues the party vibes after Parklife over at Gorilla!

Who wouldn’t want to get the most out of a cracking weekend of music by continuing the fun from 11pm until 4am with the best in amapiano? Elsewhere on the lineup for this one are Yung_OMZ, AK Gramm, Tone Rarri, DJ Chaise, and host Faro.

Closing out a huge weekend packed with tunes and laughs with a huge bang, it’s going to be mint.

Control Presents : LESSSS + more

When: Saturday 15th June 2024

Where: SWG3 in Glasgow

Hard techno princess LESSSS is embarking on a Scottish takeover during which she’ll destroy SWG3 with her hardcore energetic hard techno set with trance and hardstyle sprinkled in for good measure.

The French Teletech resident can be found on dozens of lineups for the best hard techno events and is also known for her ability to produce some seriously hard tunes like ‘Infinity’ with MKRS and her remix of AZYR’s ‘Bolt Action’.

Adored in the scene and certain to bring chaos, it’s going to be incredible. And if you’re closer to Edinburgh, no worries, she’ll be playing the Liquidroom Warehouse, too.

Damnation's Night of Salvation

When: Friday 1st November 2024

Where: BEC Arena in Manchester

Extreme metal festival Damnation has just announced an extra day - Damnation's Night of Salvation - on the Friday before the festival.

Polish death metal legends Decapitated headline the Friday with a world-exclusive performance of their album The Negation for its 20th anniversary. And US hardcore icons Sick Of It All will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of Scratch The Surface with a UK-exclusive album set, and Insanity Alert, LLNN, Sugar Horse, Hippotraktor, and more will join for a seriously heavy lineup.

Young Nation Under 18s presents Tom Zanetti & friends

When: Friday 21st June 2024

Where: Rainton Arena in Houghton-le-Spring

Ravers under 18, let’s go! Tom Zanetti comes to the northeast to headline an under-18s bash, joined by a supporting lineup of DJs including Love Island’s Jake Cornish and Ouzy See.

Zanetti, known for his tracks like ‘You Want Me’ with Sadie Ama, ‘Didn’t Know’, and ‘Flight Mode’ with Silky, will also be joined by producer SJAY Music and Jack Diamond at Rainton Arena.

Covering house, club classics, bassline, electronic, and rap, this party, with confetti explosions and massive production, will surely be one to remember.

Repercussion

Where: Depot (Mayfield) in Manchester

The Warehouse Project is back with a new event coming to Manchester in September the week before Sonny Fodera's two-night takeover.

Not much has been revealed about Repercussion just yet but considering last year’s bash was amazing, and featured sets from Bicep, Eliza Rose, Moderat, Kerri Chandler, Jayda G, John Hopkins, and more, we’re certain this year’s event will be incredible.

Covering music across the house, techno, and electronic spectrum, there’ll be plenty of fresh sounds brought to life by that famous production we all know and love.

Skyline has come through once again! Landing in the glass box in the sky, Skyline brings deep house, prog house, and techno DJs back to Glasgow plus support.

Anthony Pappa returns exactly one year after his brilliant debut, Skyline favourite Guy Mantzur is back after a fantastic Christmas party, Eli Nissan also lands in the Radisson after his Skyline Scottish debut last year, and Argentinian Ezequiel Arias completes the main bill. Finally, support comes from Andy Newland, Austin, Superprogressive, and Twilo.

Darkside Classics: 25 Years

Where: The Classic Grand in Glasgow

Another treat for Glasgow, Darkside Classics celebrates 25 years in September, dedicating the party to classic hardcore and millennium anthems.

Kicking off at 9pm and raging on until 3am, Jamaica Street will be jumping to some seriously heavy sounds. And as the UK’s longest-running regular hardcore techno party brand, throwing huge bashes since 1999, you can trust them to give you a proper party with a belting lineup.
